Much needed improvements

This more powerful model allows more points to scan. The bigger screen really helps older eyes! The menu system is easy to learn and very intuitive. I was able to quickly calibrate and scan my main antenna and handy talkies. The software is very powerful and can do many things I have yet to learn such as cable testing for length, velocity, and faults. Any ham on a budget should get one for the toolbox.

Using the jog wheel I was able to access all menu items and calibrate the unit, then use it to tune my gmrs antenna. That worked just fine. The touchscreen, doesn't. Probably some bad solder joints on the inside, shouldn't be hard to troubleshoot. Calibrating the touchscreen yielded no results.

This is my second NanoVNA, the first one is a small form factor, and is difficult to read in the field. This one is a big step up and very useful. The cost was also reasonable for what you get. Highly recommended!

I'm a ham radio operator with a number of different antenna systems. I have another analyzer but this one gives so much more information in a nifty graphic form that this one is the first I reach for now. This is not a beginner instrument though - it provides so much capability that one needs to understand SWR, velocity factors of the coax, what a Smith Chart can provide but there are excellent tutorials online to assist someone to learn and really benefit from this. That's why I didn't give "ease of use" a full 5 stars, there's a learning curve to use this. Everything is in the kit - cables for charging, the plugs for use (you need them to calibrate the instrument for each antenna system). The screen on this analyzer is bigger than most of those offered, makes seeing the data easy.

Not the easiest in terms of learning how to use it but YouTube is great for that. Mainly used for swr reading but does a great job in doing that. Plenty of functions but good little meter.
