Easy, secure and subtle

I got this to add a little bit of privacy in my office window that faces the street and front door. I placed about an 8' tall strip on my windows to cover my face and blur the inside of the room but still allow for views of the trees, clouds and nature. I also left a small sliver on the bottom open so I can peek through and be nosy :)
The application was easy to size, cut, and stick, in which I just cleaned the window and then just sprayed water, fit the film on top and used a squeegee to get any air bubbles out. Because it was in a tight roll, the slack kept rolling back up on me while I was trying to place it, so I would just suggest using tape or another person to hold the part that keeps rolling up.
This screen film does not hinder the light shining through, nor does it look too cheesy from the inside or outside.
Months later it has held up really well with no sign of peeling off from the sun hitting it or colder temps outside.
I now feel comfortable working with the blinds open while still getting a sense of privacy from the foot and road traffic outside my office window!

Tip for removing the backing: take scotch tape and place two pieces on the corner on the side that needs to be removed, it will give you something to hold while peeling the other side off. Then once started, fold the corner under so it doesn't try to re-cling.
This is exactly what I needed to stop my dog from barking at every single walker on the path behind my house. It lets in lots of light, while providing privacy.
Easy to install with one person, just make sure the pieces are manageable size, larger may benefit from two sets of hands.
I'm excited to see how this helps with the heat today, it's going to be over 90 and I would typically close my curtains to help keep it cooler in the house - but my dog is smart enough to work around that.

Bought this to cover our clear bathroom windows, will post another picture later to see how well it works at night. I used the second on to give our dog a reminder not to run through the storm door. Pretty easy to apply. I used an old hotel key instead of buying the application kit. I highly recommend changing your xacto blade before starting because mine is far from perfect. 4 stars for now, will review in a year to see how they hold up.
