My kid's old cd player started to crap out, it lasted for over 10 years. Hope this one lasts as long, they listen to the radio or a cd every night at bedtime. Love all the features, and unlike the old radio, all the controls are on the front which is nice so you can see what you're doing. Not too big either. Highly recommend.

This portable FM radio and CD player is constructed of outstanding quality and provides consistent playing of music across different forms of input. Its ability to acquire a radio signal is solid even when broadcast across cities. The CD player works great as well and has no issue reading compact discs. Volume controls are excellent, and they work effectively. Both forms of energy input work well, and this radio can be used via AC or DC current without difficulty. The physical construction of the radio is solid and appears quite durable. I think this is a radio that could last for quite a while, at least in indoor environments. This radio was an exceptional purchase compared to other FM radios on the market. I highly recommend this radio in comparison to other available radios.

The CD player arrived and was easy to set up. CD played first time and the sound quality was good. A little heavy on the base, but that was OK. We'll see if it last longer than a brand I recently purchased (not this brand) which lasted six months. That is why I got the extended warranty - three years.

I have no idea why people complain about the audio quality of this product. It may be because we're spoiled by streaming. However, this CD player is amazing! I went to CD because I didn't have any luck with vinyl. I was skeptical to buy this CD player because so many people complained about the audio quality but when I got it, I was blown away by the audio quality. It sounds exactly as a boombox should sound. This CD player cannot be compared to HomePod-kinda devices because it's not designed that way. It's just a CD player with a decent, in my opinion AMAZING, audio quality. If you're hesitant like me because of the reviews, don't pay attention to them and buy it now! I guess people just like complaining...
