So fun, my partner and I have fun putting these in my hair. Being unable to do these alone I have had to have help due to my hands not being so good. My partner is not so good with doing hair. Way better with working on cars. LOL but I have no choice but to use his hands to do my hair. I was surprised at how easy it was for him once he got the first few in. Now we know how to do it and have made it a fun time. Purchase and have fun with it.

My daughter has very thick hair and she always has extras left over. She hasn't got the hang of it yet but when I did them for her I liked it was easy, and pretty fast since she has a lot of hair. The hair stick was easy to assemble.

Daughter loves it but there is no way she is sleeping in them for picture day at school. I tried them out 1st to get the hang of them because you can pull hair out if not done right and i made it about an hour in bed before i started taking them out.

The bottom half of the stick kept breaking off as I pulled Jaír through, that was annoying. Also I recommend using some curl defining cream because once they dry in the shape they look frizzy. But the do curl so I would recommend.

I curl my hair quite often which can be time consuming and damaging to my hair. I wanted a heatless solution and potentially one that I could sleep in so I could curl my hair overnight and wake up ready to go. These curlers fulfilled part of my expectation and not so much on the other.
I have thinner, 2b, long hair that reaches a little further than my natural waist. When I first tried these curlers I washed my hair and let it air dry slightly. It was about 80% damp and I applied a light volume gel and a curling serum before applying the curlers. The application was relatively simple. I did have a few snags here and there where my hair would get tangled or caught in the flattened tube. In those cases, I would have to pull out that particular strand and start over.
A little tip: brush that strand of hair, hook it, and then pinch the tube to open it as you pull your hair through it. The hook doesn't create a big enough opening to alleviate snagging. Opening the flattened tube more will allow your hair to slide easier through it.
Another thing to note is that I do have what's considered a longer hair length, so I did find that I was left with about an inch of hair left at the bottom. It wasn't a dealbreaker for the look I was going for. But if you have longer hair and you're looking for more of a perfect ringlet from top to bottom, just understand that this may not give you the coverage you're looking for.
After placing all my hair in the curlers, I tried to wrap them in a scarfs to keep them together while sleeping. This was an interesting process to say the least. Just imagine trying to wrap a bunch of slinkies without them bouncing out.
Initially upon laying down I did notice some slight discomfort, but I thought I could ignore it to at least drift off and go into deep sleep. Yeah... not so much.
I tossed and turned to find a more comfortable position. But after lightly "sleeping" and shifting around for hours, I decided to throw in the towel. Defeated, I took out the curlers, but I was pleasantly surprised to see my hair had dried and the curls coming out were stunning. Really, I will commend this product on the fact that it does produce gorgeous, bouncy ringlets. I took out all the curlers, carefully wrapped my hair back in the scarf and went back to bed.
To my disappointment, when I got up the ringlets were more like very limp waves. This could've been for several reasons completed unrelated to the product.
All in all here is my recommendation. These are a great heatless option that I'd recommend, but they are not a comfortable overnight option. I mean they could be if you have a high pain tolerance I guess. But as for me, this option was a no go. I would try them again, but possibly for a day where I had the time to apply them during the day and could wait for them to dry. So for a heatless option, I'd say these are a winner. From a convenience perspective, well they're not winning points in my book as an overnight option. So I give it 4 stars for the beautiful heatless curls and say they lose a star just like I lost a few hours of sleep from that night.
