Before I get too far into this, let me first say this is an excellent budget "Smart" deadbolt. In terms of quality for the price, I haven't seen anything better. You're going to pay at least 100 dollars more for anything even close. Now, that's not to say this is the end-all-be-all deadbolt, but at 30-something dollars it's most definitely a "Why not?" kind of purchase.
The Good: Relatively sturdily built. The door hardware itself seems to be made of quality material. It says weather resistant but I wouldn't suggest leaving it to the elements if at all possible, as it is mostly plastic and the keypad appears to be made from a pretty soft rubber material. I have it behind a storm door so it is mostly always protected from any direct exposure. Again considering the price point, it's surprisingly feature-rich. The only aspect that's really missing from this vs. much more expensive options is the ability to access/control it from your phone or via Bluetooth, etc.
The Bad: As mentioned it is largely made from plastic and rubber. Really only one big complaint, though: the instructions for programming/customizing your codes/timing for the auto-lock is not the clearest and actually took me way longer to figure out than the installation itself.
Bottom Line: If you're in the market for this type of product and don't have it in your budget to shell out 250 dollars, just get it. It's a slick little addition that adds another layer of security to your home and saves you a bit of time fumbling with keys too.
