Very well built, constructed like a tank. Unit is very loud and has decent bass. Treble could be clearer. This is a mono block unit, it is not stereo. The volume knob on mine sticks at about half volume, I have read several reviews that have the same issue. My overall opinion is for well over $400 I expected a higher quality sound but I am pleased with the unit.
