We grabbed another one to keep at the cabin and it has been great there! This is my original review from this item

I love pizza and have wanted a big, outdoor wood fired pizza oven but funds and space make it impractical to own one. I recently began cooking in the backyard with an Ooni 3 pizza oven. While it produced decent pizzas, I did not like the tall chimney which got in the way and the limit of only using pellets. The pellet chamber was very small managing the fire and making pizzas was hectic. Enter the Napoli Wood Fire and Gas Outdoor Pizza Oven!
I sold the Ooni and took a chance on the Napoli and I am glad I did! I love that the fuel tray is quite large so I don't constantly need to add fuel. I also like that I can burn pellets, charcoals, wood chinks, etc. I have found wood chunks to be my favorite and to use a small, USB powered fan to blow into the fuel chamber to give a hotter burn. The oven is fairly light and easy to transport if needed (we have taken it camping). Build quality is nice and sturdy. Pizza parties are great with the Napoli, we cook, eat, and visit and I am not worried about fire management like with the Ooni.
I start the oven by soaking a few cotton balls in Isopropyl alcohol and then laying a few small wood chunks on top of them and light them. Give the oven about 15 minutes to preheat (I like to cook at around 700-800*F) and then I am ready for cooking. I usually put a small wood chunk on after each pizza which will then light, burn hot and then I am ready to cook the next one. Be sure to use hard wood like mesquite, fruits woods, and hickory - don't use pine and other soft wood or it will taste bad.
If you are looking for a portable, easy to use pizza oven, this is it. Find the fuel you like to use and start cooking!

MAKES GREAT TASTING PIZZAS !

The media could not be loaded. Ever since we saw this Bertello Pizza Oven featured on Shark Tank over 12 months ago I have wanted one. Finally we made the move and bought one on Amazon a few months ago. We have been making our own home made pizzas from scratch for over 20 years and cooking them in our kitchen oven. We thought our pizzas were pretty good given we couldn't get a temp over 550F. Besides that we prefer Neapolitan thin crust pizzas cooked at lightning speed so buying one of these babies was a no brainer. It's taken us a few tries to get the pizza base size the perfect fit for the pizza peel and the size of the narrow opening on the Bertello oven. But seriously this little pizza oven is sensational. It will get up to 950F within 15 minutes and we will get a pretty good word-fired thin crust pizza within 2 minutes. We also brought the propane adaptor + tank and use hickory wood chunks to provide the extra flavor. At this stage we still haven't fired it up using pellets. We think this pizza oven has been a great investment and we LOVE our wood fired thin crust pizzas ! And a big thanks to Eric Thomas from Bertello for his honest help !
You will need to use it often so you can get YOUR own method of operation...

I LOVE the product, I have used it several time since the purchase. Remember practice makes perfect. So pay close attention to the temp & TURN times. I have found it better to get it HOT with your gas & wood, then turn the gas off and let the wood complete your cook...
Takes a little Practice and Some Patience

We love this, it is not the nice relaxing pizza night you are use to but it is still pizza night.
Make your pizzas smaller initially 8 or 10 inches to get the hang of it, round is best.
Put the pizza dough on the peel only when the oven is ready, make the pizza fast to avoid sticking.
We have used store bought dough and they all worked well, Trader Joes, Fresh Thyme, and Jus Rol which is close to the Pillsbury dough boy products in a sheet, like pastry dough.

My family does pizza night once a month, usually at a local pizza joint. Now that I have my Bertello Pizza Oven we will be doing it at our house. The Bertello oven is easy, fast and the pizza tastes GREAT!! So far we have only used pre-made pizza crust, so my next foray will be to make my own crust. The money we save not going out will pay for the oven in a few short months. We live in the Midwest and have a pool we use in the summertime. I can't wait for this year's pool and pizza parties! Thank you Bertello!
