I really thought this was going to be a flimsy cheap bed but this bed is literally amazing. 1 screw on the entire bed did strip but it's on the middle board on the headboard so it doesn't affect anything. My wife and I loveeeeee this bed. Only thing I would say is MAKE SOME MATCHING NIGHTSTANDS 9/10

Two thumbs up. Good price for something that is solid wood, relatively easy to assemble, king size, and has a head board.
Likes:
Went together easy enough. Pretty intuitive and well placed mounting hardware. Could be done alone. Seems like this would survive being taken back apart for a move (unlike some of my college era furniture). Has no squeaks or creaks moving around on it once all hardware is tightened down. Finish looks great. The few points of minor cosmetic marks that came from shipping (things always get roughed up in shipping where I am) or my own doing (from not watching the door when moving the unwrapped pieces) were easily touched up with a finish pen as since this is solid wood the scratches were extremely shallow and easy to conceal. Packaging was more than adequate with the double cardboard a nice touch for survivability of shipping with some "less than gentle" carriers. Also wrapping the styrofoam to keep the mess down is a plus .
Dislikes:
I do wish there were maybe 50% more supporting slats for the base as my mattress sags a bit through the spaces more than I care for. I added some spare birch boards had and cut and sanded to match the existing.

Great bed, quick shipping and well packaged. The assembly was pretty easy, even with one person. When fully assembled it is very sturdy. The only surprise I had was when I put the mattress on it ( Nectar 12 inch hybrid queen). It came up quite high on the headboard, about half way up the second slat, not like the picture where all three slats are showing. The mattress used in the product pictures is probably no more than 6 inches high. But still, nice bed !

We were looking for a king size bed frame that looked good and didn't make any noise. I was nervous to spend a lot of money and not know what I was getting, but we finally settled on this.
We've only had it a month so far, BUT
- it was very simple to put together and went pretty quickly.
- looks really good
- at this time, it is sturdy AND quiet!
It's a little lower to the ground than I expected, but not a deal breaker. We have be an 11 inch mattress and it's perfect.
There's also not a lot of "head room" under the bed, which I prefer, so that's great. But it seems like there would still be space for underbed storage if you want it, and my kids still manage to belly crawl under it somehow 🥴🤣
There's no foot board, which I originally wanted and couldn't find, but it's okay. Our bed stays in place well.
