Don't overfill and you will love it!

I REALLY like this smart kettle for the size and ther convienence of being able to turn it on and modify the heat settings via the app. I was looking for a kettle that boils to the temperature I need for different teas without hovering. With the shape of the spout, I can imagine it being very good for pour over coffees as well.
Note: While some complain about this kettle boiling over, there IS a MAX line on the inside to prevent overfilling. I can see where this can be missed because of where its placed. No one is going to be looking for that on the inside toward the handle but would be looking at the inside "sides". Its something that should be modified by the manufacturer. Even noting this from reading other reviews, I still purchased and have no regrets.

I spent part of my childhood in the UK, so I take tea very seriously.
I've been using the same workhorse electric kettle since 2007. It's a champ. I love it. But I was intrigued when I started to see gooseneck kettles on various cooking and decorating blogs that I follow.
And then, on Prime Day, this kettle ("COSORI Electric Gooseneck Kettle with 5 Variable Presets") appeared with a sizable discount.
I took the risk, and I'm very glad that I did.
PROS:
--It's elegant.
--The handle feels great in my hand.
--The pouring spout is so precise--gardening folks, you'll be pleased to know that the precision is equivalent to a pricey Haws watering can.
--The 5 presets make it incredibly easy to set.
--There has been no chemical smell when I've used it.
--The interior looks like plain old stainless steel (no icky nonstick coatings).
CONS:
--The 5 presets don't match perfectly with every kind of tea you might want to make, or with what every expert says. But the settings have matched up neatly with my expectations for black tea and herbal tea so far.
In short, I love this kettle. It's added immensely to both my decor and my tea-drinking experience.

I use this product to heat water for drinking tea. I really like the presets for the different kinds of tea and how fast the kettle brings the water to the correct temperature. It really makes for an elegant tea drinking experience. It's been used a lot in the short time I've had it. The only downside to me is the kettle exterior gets very hot so you have to be careful not to touch it while in use.

Love this Gooseneck Tea Kettle! It's super cute and has different types teas listed on the on/off switch in front. Simply turn it on, select a tea type, and your water heats to the correct temperature for that particular type of tea. There is also a Hold Warm button. I throw my loose leaf tea right in the kettle before heating and put a mesh strainer over a tea cup and pour the tea into the cup. WARNING: when washing it Do Not Get the underside heating mechanism in the middle of the underside wet because you might damage it.

What an awesome little kettle! It has a reasonably small footprint. It heats super rapidly. It's very sturdy. The handle is very comfortable to use. The spout is just the right shape and the stream just the right volume to get some great agitation on loose tea leaves. The ability to turn it on remotely is also quite nice! If I knew someone that needed a kettle, I would definitely buy this for them as a gift!
