Love these. It's helped my dogs out a lot. Before the carpet, they used to slip and fall all the time. I was worried about them seriously hurting themselves, so I thought I'd give these a try. I'm so happy that I did. These were extremely easy to install. Just peel the back plastic off and place it on your stairs. That's it! There's no glue. The rubber side naturally sticks to any flat surface. I was originally worried they might start to slip or move around. I have 3 dogs, and not one of them has managed to get these to move. I would highly recommend this for anyone with pets and hardwood stairs. Your pups will thank you for it.

I ordered these a couple months ago. I have tile stairs that are very slippery. These were super easy to "install", took maybe 15 minutes, and that's because I was very picky about making sure they were aligned and centered in the middle of each step, as to look uniform.
The kids rooms are upstairs so these have had LOTS of use and they have not moved at all! I was a little worried since we live in a very humid climate and they didn't feel as sticky as I thought they should, when I peeled the backing off. But, they are stuck down and haven't moved at all! Even with the vacuuming of the stairs! I would definitely recommend these! They have been a true lifesaver, and with as many slips and "near falls" as we've had on the stairs prior, that's huge!

I looked at every stair tread and these seemed to be the best option for the best value. They aren't the most attractive, but they stay in place and give great traction. Some reviews say they don't stay put, but after several months of regular use (including a dog) they haven't budged. I made sure the wood was clean and dry before applying, maybe that makes a difference. They are easy to clean with a small vaccuum. They stick well but it doesn't have a strong adhesive, so you can remove them without damaging the stairs. They aren't stratchy but they aren't super soft either.
