Bought these to put down for my poor old dog that has a lot of pain issues.I had taken off old carpet and needed something quick and easy that would not break the bank until I can refinish the stairs. Just be careful when you vacuum that you don't get a corner stuck and pull the tread up.They will go right back down though

These are great, I use them for my dog who has joint problems and skids on hardwood, especially stairs. I had carpet ones at the last place but they would never stick on for long even with the best carpet tape and looked dirty / didn't match and are much more expensive.
They are a little narrower (width wise) than I initially liked but she seems to be doing well with them without any issues so I ordered another set for other places in the house that she has to jump up from that is not carpeted.

I give this product 5 stars. My dogs and kids took a few tumbles down our new hardwood stairs and I knew something had to be done (since the removal of the carpet was my idea). I do not like carpet, I hate it, it holds dirt and germs so I need a different solution. I tried this product and it works well, no more tumbles and it doesn't look bad in my opinion. I have had them on for a month now with two teenagers, two dogs ( a great dane an a bull dog) and they have not budged. I can clean the steps and it does not have any effect on these treads. They are easy to install and remove with no residue. I would definitely recommend, and I have. This was a great buy and lifesaver ( literally)!!!!!!
