This is a complete boombox, this boombox is the new improve version of the retro boomboxes, it came out this year (2020), plus it has a full year warranty on it, sound has nice bass and treble, a nice crisp clean sound. Fully functional has fm/am radio, cd player, cassette player, recorder, dual mic, led screen, lights, cassette door opens smoothly, all knobs turn smoothly also. I'm glad I waited and purchased this one, almost purchased the other brand that's similar to this one. Includes remote, power cord, manual, and built-in rechargeable battery, Bluetooth works very fast. Has source button, headphones jack, aux in and USB port. All work as intended and very well. The shape of this boombox remind me of the lasonic boxes. This techplay monster was a well thought-out design and functionality. This works very well, no problems or issues at all. I would recommend this techplay monster to anyone who is looking for a decent retro boombox with today's technology.

The unit shines with the cd and cassette playing functions. The sound quality is decent. The am fm tuner is just ok. As mentioned by someone else the Bluetooth does not play very loud. I have not tried the thumb drive yet. The rechargeable battery works well. Overall a good unit not great

I purchased this unit because I play the guitar and wanted to be able to practice via cds, cassettes and music saved on the USB plug. This unit has all of that plus a radio. It seems to be well-built. It does have stereo speakers which is nice. The manual could be written a little better. There are some things that I couldn't understand but did figure them out eventually. I don't have any complaints other than I think it is a bit over priced. I hope it will last a while to justify what I paid for it. Only time will tell.
