Great blanket once aired out

At first I thought I would have to return this, because it arrived with a strange smell, sort of like a food. I thought maybe it was vegetable dye. But I aired it out outside on the deck for a day, then laundered it, and now I love it. Very toasty and cozy. We're using it for an extra blanket on cold nights, between the comforter the quilt throw.

It's wool so it's soft but not supper soft like brushed cotton. Very warm and comfortable when used on top of a sheet. The long length made it easy to tuck under the mattress at the foot of the bed. I would recommend this blanket.

As always, Pendleton delivers warmth and comfort. We have used their blankets for many years, both at home and for camping. This one is for an additional emergency blanket for the car, as we have 50 miles of mountains to get to the nearest large town. I have full confidence that it will keep us warm in an emergency.
