Love the look but as with any type of fire pit, I would recommend spraying the entire item with high heat spray paint to help resist the weather for longevity. No matter what they state the metal is thinly made for the bottom pan.

I like the look and the size of the fireplace. I wanted a bigger one and this is bigger than most that I looked at. You can also grill on it so I can throw out my old grilling kettle. A bit thin but if taken care of should last a long time.

This unit doesn't look like the 'typical' fire pit.....it adds some pizzazz with its styling. Assembly was easy, but a helper will make it easier. Instructions aren't the best. Just be sure to have each piece facing the correct way before fastening together. Can't wait for the first fire of fall!
