Works great as a mat for under the food bowls

I have a cat that doesn't leave my bedroom (long story). I feed her on top of my dresser. I learned that it is very difficult to clean hardened canned food off of the dresser so I got one of these. It works great to contain the mess, it doesn't move, and it's easy to clean. It's really cute, as well. It does what it needs to and I definitely don't regret getting it.

Needed something for under our water fountain for the cats.
This provides enough space for the fountain we have as well as space for the cats to stand while drinking.
The small lip to the edge is nice but we've never had any overflow of that much water to see how well it would hold up.
It is not rigid at all, it's quite flexible but this is not a problem. In fact it allows me to have the back edge rest on the finishing strip near the baseboard and fit our area better.
It makes cleanup easier for the cat that sticks her head UNDER the water fountain faucet to drink"¦cause that's more effective.
Will repurchase for our second fountain upstairs! Great product!
