It's a gamble at this price
Bryan T✓ Verified Purchase•July 23, 2023
This is just a typical you get what you paid for kind of product. It's actually a pretty solid power rack for the price. However, the gamble really comes into play with quality control. Whereas higher priced items probably have better manufacturing processes, this one lacks.
Some of you will get lucky and get parts that fit together seamlessly, others, like myself, will get parts that are misaligned... leading to quite the pain. In my case, it was the pull-up bar.
The first one I received was warped and didn't line up correctly. AT ALL. I requested a replacement part. To the sellers credit, I received the new part swiftly. However, I wasn't lucky this time either... as the replacement part ALSO did not fit. I could only get one bolt lined up and through (out of 4 on this section) before needing to bend metal to get it to fit. Mind you the bolt I got into its designated slot WAS NOT tightened down with the nut, just there as a place holder to pin one end in so I could try to twist the rest of it into place. NO DICE.
And, no, this isn't an issue that needs a bit of the proverbial "elbow grease". The amount of torque it would take to get this thing in place would require several people and/or machinery.
But even with all of that, I wasn't particularly upset because I understood the risks when buying at this price. The full reason this products gets a 2 star review is because when I reached out to customer service again **CRICKETS**. No help. No swift response (none at all) or guidance on what I could happen next to address the issue. GHOSTED. So I'm requesting a return & refund.
That's it. That's all I got. I'm sure others have had plenty of other issues with this product since, as I've said, QC probably isn't top-notch and other parts probably are produced at inconsistent qualities. Feel free to gamble. But just know that you are indeed gambling. Hope you get one of the good ones.
***UPDATE: The seller did contract me back after a few days. They sent another replacement pull-up bar and this one worked! Most of the previous review still stands. Order with hopes of getting it right the first time. But do know it seems the company will do everything it can to rectify any issues. Bumping this up to four stars due to sellers pretty good customer service.

READ THIS for tips

First of all, I don't know how in the world it took people in the retired EIGHT hours to put it together, or how quite a few people complain about the instructions and that they suck. It took me barely 2 hours and a half to put together, this includes taking my time, and having dinner with my wife while watching Bravo. The instructions are very straight forward and tells you all you need to know, the nuts, bolts, ect are packed into a board like a advent calander. Each bubble even says what steps they're part of, how could they possibly break it down Barney-style any further?
So onto the tips: you main get the pully columns that don't quite line up with the rear column, on the top. To make this super easy and quick when you get to around step 4/5, use a pry tool with a head small enough to fit in the squares, as seen on my pics. You need to pry and wiggle a little bit, until you can drop the bolt all the way through. It's a lot easier than it sounds. Next tip, the top T shaped thing that goes over the 2 chrome bards (what holds the weights for the pulley), it might not slide onto the bars. To remedy this, use the same said pry tool to pry out some of the extra material inside the tub part of the T shape thing, you'll easily be able to pry that excess material from the casting, out.
I don't consider these tiny issues to warrant a score less than a 5. You're getting exactly what the description says, and what you're getting is a steal when compared to counter parts with a thicker gauge). Unless you're a powerlifter a few pegs below Eddie Hall, you really don't have to worry if this is goimg to be enough if you're not bench, pushing, squating more than 500.

Great value and enjoy using this cage

The cage was shipped promptly. I was given one Fed Ex tracking number and received one medium sized box. However it does come in two boxes. The second 80" box arrived the next day. It took me a little over three hours to assemble. This may have gone faster if the instructions had been better written. Note it comes with two open end wrenches, but that would take forever. Use one wrench and one 17" socket. A rubber mallet is also handy to "persuade" the upper assembly. Instructions refer to each part number, however none of the parts or hardware are actually numbered. I figured it out without too much effort. It is pretty straightforward except for the pulley system. The three top pulleys require installing two pulley pegs (one on each side). Directions show one per pulley. The bottom and floating pulleys do not use any pegs.
I've had this one week and really enjoy the versatility and large combination of workouts you can perform.
I placed the landline on the inner upright only because I have space limitations and needed to keep the bar on my floor mats. It worked great
Aside from the instructions lacking some clarity, I only have two minor complaints. First, the floating weight section has a plastic insert on the top and bottom. They pop out very easily. I fixed this by wrapping them with 1" black duct tape as seen in the third picture. Easy fix and you can barely see the tape.
The pull up has a chrome ring that sits in front of the ball. For seated rowing it works as designed, but if you use it for curls, the ring floats down the cable (thanks gravity) and gets caught. Again easily fixed with some black tape to keep the ring affixed to the ball. Note this is not a flaw as they never said it was for curls, but I wanted to use it that way. See picture 4.
I bought a tricep rope separately and it works great. I will get another pull up bar because the one provided is 15" wide and I'd prefer a rotating 19". I also bought a barbell pad and it works great for squats.
I answered some frequent questions posed by others. This will accept 1" and 2" Olympic plates. The pull up bar cannot be inverted. I don't see any way to do that given the design and it must be installed to stabilize the unit. Also note I have a 6' barbell which fits great, but anything smaller would not be wide enough to rest on the supports.
Mine is not bolted to the floor, but the weight of the cage and added plate weights provides plenty of stability.
Overall this is a great unit for the cost. Despite the minor issues described, I still would purchase. If not for those, I would have given 5 stars.
Hope this helps.

Solid unit

This unit has an excellent build quality and features found in equipment 3x the price (REP ARIES). Putting it together was easy, just time consuming. I left the bolts loose during the built, then with everything in place I went back and tightened everything with my drill and socket. The only reason for 4 stars is because it's marketing says 1 and 2 inch compatible. The weight stack has sleeves for 2 inch plates, but the plate holders are for 2 inch plates only which sucks.

Shipping was super fast, actually faster than expected. The rack arrived days ahead of schedule but luckily I was home and heard the FedEx truck backing into the driveway. Overall satisfied with the rack. The pics displayed show the issue I had with assembly. One of the corner pieces had been welded crooked and the chin up bar didn't sit flush on top of the rack. I had to use a clamp to hold it down so I could get the bolts through. The weight storage racks can become blocked if using the bar on the bars closest to the cable system. This might not be a problem if using a 7 foot bar but I'm using a 6 foot bar due to the confined area I'm using the rack. The unit was well packaged and assembly instructions were fairly straightforward. I'd give it an 8/10 and would buy it again. I would love rates higher but due to the crooked weld and having to overcome that I'm deducting 2.
