I don't normally write product reviews but decided this purchase deserved to be recognized. I spent a lot of time researching similar products and then decided this unit was the best "bang for my buck". I believe the Major Lutie PLM03 is an excellent value and perfect for the small home gym.

All 3 boxes arrived together and on time. All items were well packaged, had no damage, and there were no missing parts. Assembly went okay. My only suggestion to the manufacturer would be that the instructions booklet be larger. I didn't have trouble following the pictures, but the pictures were small. It took the 2 of us about 3 hours to unbox and assemble the PLM03.

The rack seems stable and very well made for the price point. Pulley system has a little drag but again, for the price point it is great. We had our first workout with the new setup yesterday and we are excited about all the new exercises we can do now. It is a great addition to our home gym setup, and I think it will provide years of service.

First off I was hesitant about the stability of the Power rack but Honestly if it's put together correctly it should be just sturdy as your gym machine(s).
Also with all the various things that this Power rack allows you to do, it will take your game to the next level.
For the price it's A Top Tier Investment!!

This is perfect for an at home gym! We have it setup in our garage and still have plenty of space.

It ships in three different boxes. We did not receive one of them. However, the customer service team had another one sent ASAP, and they checked in with us several times to ensure it was on the way and that we received it! I would definitely recommend purchasing from this company.

For the price I don't think you can do any better. This exceeds everything I expected. I can do Bench Press, Shoulder Presses, Squats all on my own without a spotter because of the safety bars. Plus, you get all the added features of the cable system for Lat Pulldowns, Triceps presses, Bicep Curls, Shoulders. The cable system is smooth, just make sure to periodically add a bit of silicone grease to maintain the smoothness of the cable. Make the purchase, you won't be disappointed!

I recently decided to take an active control over my fitness. I normally work out from home, but my equipment was limited to a few dumbbells and a bench. This was forcing me to drive 25+mins, each way, to the gym several times a week. That is what brought me to start researching home gym equipment to purchase that would enable me to do 80-90% of the exercises I was doing at the gym.

After research, I quickly understood that I didn't want to need a huge upgrade in a year or less. I wanted to make sure that the power rack I bought would be sufficient for years down the road. That is what made me stay away from the cheapest options on Amazon and look at this mid-tier ($600-1000) solution. The cheapest options seemed ok and had good reviews, but were bare-bones. Then I stumbled upon Major Lutie.

They had what I was looking for, at a price that was agreeable to what I was getting. My requirements for a power cage were these:

- Pull-up bars: The PLM03 has a pullup bar that allows for wide-grip and several close-grip options. Perfect.
- Squat Rack: The PLM03 is highly capable and the J-cups feel beefy and secure.
- Barbell benchpress: PLM03 comes with 1" steel safety rods that allow me to perform compound barbell exercises like incline bench press, shoulder press, and more by myself safely.
- Cable pully system: PLM03 has an excellent pully system that just works well. You can use both pullies at the same time or in single pull mode for exercises like Lat pulldowns or bicep curls.
- 1" diameter holes in the power cage: PLM03 has 1" holes that will allow me to upgrade to industry-standard attachment fittings.

In addition to all of the above, you also get a landmine attachment that allows for many dynamic exercises beyond what a stand-alone cage allows. It is an excellent addition to the product.

The weight and barbell holder in the back work well and I actively use them to store mine when not in use.

Recommendations:
- I purchased horse stall mats from a tractor supply store to form a sturdy base that can take a beating. Each mat weighs about 100 lbs. In the future, I will get some 3/4" plywood to put under the mats so I can bolt the PLM03 down to the ground. I do not want to drill into my garage. When I put 160 lbs on the pully and perform cable bicep drag curls, it moves the cage. So, this will be a must-upgrade in the future.

- The spring-clip collars that come with the PLM03 slid on and off the pully weight holders. I would recommend investing in a higher-quality pair of collars if you feel the need.

- The PLM03 comes with many attachments that will start you on your way to your fitness goals. As you progress, I recommend getting a rope pulldown and attachments that spin freely. The attachments that come with the PLM03 are fixed attachments that do not rotate or spin when using them. I find I need this for cable curls and other exercises.
