Easy and Fun to Use
Jerilyn✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 10, 2023
We've had the rollator for a couple weeks now getting used to it, and it's really a lot of fun for mom to use. She loves how maneuverable it is, how easy it is for her to lock it, and how steady it is even when she's getting up or down on the seat. She's got osteoarthritis in her hands so having a rollator that locked easily was important for us. She's a bit too zippy now. I keep having to say, "Mom, wait for me!" but that really is a good thing. She loves it, and I can tell she's really enjoying her new toy. Her doctors' offices have been really interested in it too!

We've had a few issues getting used to a different type of mobility item; however, overall, it's been a very positive experience. Prior to this my mother either used two canes (regularly) or a built up traditional walker (occasionally). This has been great fun for her, and it looks great too. It came quickly, and it was relatively simple for me to assemble. There's going to be one screw that's going to be a bit difficult to move later if I want to adjust the height, but since it's just for her, it should be ok.

The only issue that we've had was the little elastic (it is used to hold it together when it's collapsed down) snapped (kinda my fault on that... I reminded dad it was there and then promptly forgot about it when I set it up for mom later). However, I just replaced it with a sturdy black hair holder. I put it on the handle when the rollator is extended open, and since, it's black, you really don't notice it there when it's not in use.

I'm a little concerned that the top loops for the storage bag are elastic. You can't put heavier items in the storage bag, or they will snap. I nearly snapped them when I put mom's purse in the bag. (Her purse is rather heavy.) These should definitely have been constructed of a heavier material. I may loop a keyring around the plastic loops and attach it with those eventually. Also note that if you have too heavy of a weight in the bag while it's on the front of the rollator, it creates quite the rattling on the rear wheels. When we removed the heavy purse from the bag, and simply placed it on the seat, it immediately resolved the rattle. It actually rolls very quietly.

I bought this device because of a severe back damage and inability to walk upright past 10 /12 steps & using a cane is exhausting. I love to walk, but can not without proper upright support. Our doctors all want us to walk for health. Not easy when disabled. I saw a lady using an up walker & decided to try one. I have been using this device for approximately a month. I have found that it has a few flaws. If you run into a sidewalk rut, divot, hole or pavement flaw, you & walker fall directly forward as its design structure does not keep body mass weight distributed over frame evenly if you walk into the above obstacles. I nearly fell foward. I let go & the walker fell forward. I found myself catching my feet on the rear wheels. I've overcome that issue. Walking on sidewalks or slightly angled walkways can be unbalanced & not easiy to steer, as there is zero flexibility in frame or shock absorbers, springs on wheels. It can be difficult to open up and lock into place once folded for transportation. I am able to effectively walk fast & upright for exercise. The front wheels should be like wheels on a jogging stroller, more rubber & flexible over ruts, unevenness of surface, rocks, cracks & gaps. Does it serve my purpose, absolutely. Not perfect but cheaper than the original "upwalker lite", which I will greatly consider buying if their price would come down. The positive side is I am now able to walk much farther than when using a cane. Yahoo!

Well made but directions are terrible.
The print is not legible and blocked by next line. Color coding for each side and would be easier to see. It helps me stand up straighter but not sure we got it together correctly
ADJUSTABLE

THE WALKER IS VERY DURABLE AND THE ADJUSTABLE PART IS GREAT. IT WAS FOR SOMEONE 5' TALL AND ADJUSTED EASILY. MUCH BETTER QUALITY THAN I EXCEPTED FOR SUCH A REASONABLE PRICE.
What an amazing difference from my standard walker.

I was almost always falling when my walker would hit cracks in the sidewalk or uneven flooring. I would often lunge forward, which was frightening. This walker is a game changer for me. Being erect, I have found, is more comfortable and I am no longer tired even after walking around in a store shopping. The wheels easily go over the side walk, parking lot pavement and even those irritating yellow non-slip pads on entrances to the mall. It's manueverability was amazing to me, it takes little or no effort to turn it around. My only wish is that they could get the walker to be a bit lighter in weight. I have to have a grandchild or someone with me to get it in and out of the back of the van. I would definitely recommend this to anyone dependent on a walker.
