Very comfy but hard to put baby in yourself

I love this carrier, it is very comfy with no back pain. Only negative thing is it's hard to strap the back on yourself and get baby in. For my newborn I have to balance her over my shoulder and slide her in very tightly because it is impossible to get baby in and strap the middle piece in the back yourself. Also the head piece to secure their sleeping head is hard to snap on yourself since the snaps are on the back of your shoulder.

I only really wanted this for the seat part but I wasn't about to buy one for $10 less that she couldn't be strapped into. Very good purchase overall, my girl has never really liked being strapped to me even when she was younger so the seat still gives her enough freedom to be comfortable. I took it with my to my county fair and every mother was turning their heads to see how I was carrying all the things I carried. Plus so many moms carrying their kids and pushing and empty stroller. I've convinced quite a few people to get it because I'm also a bigger girl and it fit but it has the extra buckle to make sure it's really not going anywhere.

I was looking for a carrier to use for county fair, state fair and marching band season, and this checks all the boxes! Our 6 month old does well in this, and I am able to tote him around pretty easily in it. The hip seat does well to balance his weight, and the carrier as a whole is pretty breathable especially with Midwest heat and humidity. My only wish is that there was another strap across the back to help keep it tighter, as little one is a bit chonky (20lbs) but all in all, it's a great carrier for the price, and does support a bigger baby well!
