As you can see from the photos, during the day it let's beautiful light in and plays with colors because of the texture. At night, with every single ridiculously bright light on in the house and very dark outside, you could see that it was light in the house but you could see nothing else. Perfect privacy. It was easy to install once it was cut to the right size.
The only suggestion for improvement would be that it came available in standard window sizes, for example 9 in is standard for a door side light window. That would have made it much easier to install, and there would be less waste.

Difficult to cut without tearing

My fine motor skills are not great so this was a real challenge for me, but if you are someone who is good at wrapping presents and stuff like that, this would probably be easy for you. It does tear, though, if you try to fix it once it is on the window.
I like how you can't tell from the outside that I've got it on my windows. It just makes it hard/nearly impossible to see inside the house when it is light outside. Even when it is dark outside and I have a light on in the room there is a slight shading that offers some privacy. Not walk-around-naked privacy, but more like what a screen would do.

We have a criminal / weirdo snoop / druggie element on the street outside my elderly mother's apartment building. They seem to keep tabs on which apartments have lights on and who comes and who goes.
