I bought a wired powered subwoofer at a great price, to augment my non-powered Bose speakers.
But room placement was the issue. Sub really needed to be in the back of the room. But, hardwiring would be expensive, and labor intensive.
This device solved the problem, easliy and at a fair price. Simple to install, and NO perceptible time lag.

This was the easiest installation and use of a wireless transiever that I've ever experienced. Just follow the directions in the box, and you're done. I will use this for my subwoofer, so I don't know how "clean" is the sound. I did run a tone through my AVR and out to the sub. That sounded as it should. I'll know more when I run Audessey. As far as longevity: I have no idea how long this will last. Note: I changed the transmission frequency from 5.8 GHz to 5.2 GHz, in order to avoid problems with my WiFi router. I was wrong: there were conflicts. I switched to 5.8 GHz. No more problems. It is nice to have that option.

This arrived today, I connected per the instructions, and it just worked. The sound is great and it solved a big problem. My sub is on an enclosed patio and I moved things around and would have needed to run a wire into my basement where the receiver is located. So this gadget quickly connected my sub to a receiver in my cellar to the sub 20' away and outside the house. Really amazing...
