I suffer from back pain due to degenerated vertebrae and disks up and down my spine and found myself hunching often, so I decided to try a back brace. This is no miracle cure, but I can say that as soon as I put this brace on I found relief, very likely because it forced me to keep a much better posture.
While I like this brace and wear it often according to the instructions, I think the design could be improved, maybe modifying where the straps are attached to the chest band. In my experience this is a brace to wear when not doing activities that require bending forward or lifting items (as in doing household chores), the reason being that since the second day I've worn the brace and gone about my daily chores, the shoulder straps have rolled up, digging into my underarm, while the back of the brace tends to lift, making necessary to reposition it often. I am a thin person and do not wear the brace too tightly, just enough to keep my shoulders in place, but I guess I need a longer brace for when I'm busy.

I'm 45, and I've had a issues with my back since I was 19. I slouch often due to the pain in my lumbar spine from dislocated discs and because of the counterweight from my size DD chest. I'm on pain management, so I've been prescribed a couple of types of braces. Once, I was prescribed a clavicle brace, which was awkwardly uncomfortable. It was 100% unbeneficial and did not work at all. Not to mention, the design was not very intuitive, and I could not even put it on by myself. A few years later, I was prescribed a $1500 back brace, which also did not work. I could put it on myself and it was more comfortable than the clavicle brace, but no matter where I positioned it or how tight I made it, it provided absolutely no support. The other day, I began reading a lot of Amazon reviews, looking for some sort of back brace to help my posture which would help elevate some of the pain in my back. I'm on enough pain pills and pain patches to kill a horse, yet I still have pain. Instead of increasing my doses, I was hoping there was something else I could try - a last ditch effort before asking my doctor to increase my pain meds. This back brace is great! It is not as constricting or as uncomfortable as the two prescribed braces I've owned. It holds my posture upright and is easy to put on and easy to adjust. The material is soft and smooth, which helps tremendously with the comfort. I am so thankful for this back brace! It does hurt a little bit (more like 'sore' than 'hurt', I suppose) around the front of the underarm area (the area where the brace goes underneath your arm), but it helps if you wear a shirt with sleeves underneath the brace. With any device that is pulling on your body, it is going to 'dig' into your skin a little and cause soreness, so I'm not surprised by the 'digging' sensation. It's not enough to bother me or to make me want to return it, especially with a shirt on underneath the brace. A shirt makes the soreness almost nonexistent. In the end, the brace definitely does its job, and it does it well - a lot better than the expensive, prescription braces I've owned. Overall, I am very satisfied and very pleased with this brace. If something were to happen to it, like if I left it on vacation or something, I'd buy another one in a heartbeat!

I work at a computer all day and my upper back and shoulders have paid the price! I see a chiropractor for adjustments and also get massages to work out the knots. Using this brace has helped me be able to stretch out the time between professional visits. It can tend to pinch or chafe along the front side of my shoulders/upper arms - probably because I'm still positioning my arms forward to work on my computer. When that happens I just take a break from the brace. Overall, a good value for something that has helped me to feel better/less pain and save money on therapy appointments. Try it out!

I got this product for helping my posture. Time will tell how good it works. This product is easy to put on and so comfortable to wear I can almost forget I have it on. I have tried other products that I did not like but now I have the one for me.

The product had good support but bothered my under arm
