These plats have a really wide edge so the actual "eating surface" in the inside circle is smaller than other plates. I felt like it helped with portion control for me because I can put as much on it, haha! The bowls easily hold 3 cups of liquid / solids. Very deep bowls. Much deeper than other "salad / cereal" bowls.

They're pretty good. Durable, a good weight to them, glazing seems adequate, decent value. You really should order 2 sets so you have 8 sets.
A bit pricey for what you you get and the bowls are huge.

I have a hard time committing to plates and have been looking for 4 years. I was wanting something a dark teal but not plain. These were perfect.The red ones were also such a great color, I got those too. Other than the price, the only negative I have is that the bowl is almost twice the size of what a normal soup or cereal bowl would be. They are big. We use them for when we are just having a big salad. If I wasn't so picky, I wouldn't have paid this much for three piece set and if I hadn't unpackaged all of the plates 1st, I may have sent them back due to the large bowls. We will never know. These are sturdy, a tad on the heavy side and really nice.

I have the blue and the red color sets of dishes and I love them! I want the gray and the teal sets, as well, but they don't seem to be available any longer. Will they be back?

First and foremost, I love these dishes. They are beautiful and durable. Since they are stoneware, so they have a great weight to them. For this price, you are getting something that is far greater than some of the overpriced stuff you will find at places like Crate & Barrel (for example). I haven't broken anything yet, but if I do (or my kids do), they are affordable enough to replace them without breaking the bank.
I've only had them for a couple of months and there are no signs of wear or chipping (front or back).
I highly recommend getting these or any similar products from the same manufacturer.
