this tool worked for me (2005 Accord K24A4)

i am currently doing a K24A4 (2003 accord) engine swap in a 1991 Honda CRX and this engines computer has a immobilizer. decided im going to wire in the oem security system that came with the accord. i wasted my money getting a chinese clone Honda HIM that failed to marry the immobilizer components. after more than 5 hours searching the internet looking for something capable of doing this task for me i found this and contacted the manufacturer to ask if this would work for me. was told yes so decided to buy this and take the plunge. got the unit in, updated it (you must update the modules if you expect anything to actually work) hooked it to my bench harness i made for the ecu/immo module/cluster and followed the steps and the unit sucessfully married the immo unit and registered one key to the system. tested it with key in (immo light comes on for a few secs then disappears if key is correct) then removed key and turned power on (immo light flashes indicating the key cannot be read or isnt proper key). have yet to try it on other vehicles but i am pretty satisfied with the unit and its another obstacle ive successfully hurdled to get this damn engine in this car

It's a good tool. I added keys for 2015 Honda Civic. Quickly & accurately diagnosed camshaft sensor. The interface is easy to register, setup and navigate.
The wording used seems like it's been translated from another language into English. Mostly understandable but just a like off.
Manually input VIN numbers are cleared when I change menus. I didn't see quick options to typing again and again. Customer service showed me the history option.
Does not support 2002 Mitsubishi Galant. Does not support 2003 Toyota Camry.
I like it. but definitely research if you need certain options or compatibility before you decide on which model.
Customer service has been outstanding. They been responsive to emails. thorough with questions, and helpful with solutions.

2009 honda pilot immobilizer replacement

Had to buy a used ignition assembly for my 2009 Honda pilot due to my old key not turning when I tried to start the car. Since the used ignition unit came with another immobilizer when i installed it, the car would start and stop right away. Went to 4 local mechanics to see if they can program the new immobilizer and key to my car. The lowest price I got was $280 from the mechanic shop to come to my house and program it ( which was less than 200 yards from my house).Ordered this product plugged it in maybe it took 10 mins max and I was done. This is one great tool if you work on your own car.

I purchased the X tool x 100 pad plus after finding out about it for key programming capabilities
I have a Autel MP808Ts which cost me $800 & compared to the X Tool X100 pad plus about half the price it is by far a hands down & better scan tool & key programmer
The key programming is awesome
Not only does it scan all modules & does live data *23 other functions not mention 2 years free updates Autel has 1 year
Also the update feature on the X tool much better faster down loads with more coverage than my Autel
The key programming function worked to perfection on a 2010 dodge caravan & a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta also programmed three keys on a 2011 F 250
I used the x100 pad plus to program keys for the 2010 dodge caravan provides pin access code and programming in two screens
Done in 2 minutes Very impressed
Then I programmed key for a 2002 Volkswagen Jetta
FYI Volkswagen has locked Autel & most other diagnostic companies out of there key programming procedures but with the x 100 pad plus you can program keys & remote fob,s
To sum it all up if you want a scan tool& key programmer all in one without breaking the bank I would recommend to purchase a x tool x 100 pad plus
