I've used privacy films before and they are really easy to install and renter friendly! My room is on the front of the house and faces the street. I love having my windows open especially for my plants and these are so heavenly. I feel like I'm in a garden. I even had an extra strip that I put on the bathroom window that just stays cracked. I really like this film, I think the look is elegant, but more importantly it is actually opaque. I have used the rainbow film (that is very popular on here) before and like that it makes rainbows, but this one is great for visual privacy. The pattern is a little challenging to match, but I honestly don't notice that it's a bit off. My favorite part was that it came with a grid on the backing paper for cutting. That helped a lot.

This product adds both beauty and privacy to our bedroom windows for way less than new, frosted windows would cost. It is a little tricky to peel and apply, but if you have two people doing it, it is much easier. And the stuff really sticks! Ours has held on through the heat of 110+ degree summer temperatures and the deluge that came when we were hit by a tropical storm. It looks elegant, not cheap. I may do other windows as well, because it looks so nice.
