Snug fit
Fits good . Not the cheapest material. Definitely feels like it'll keep me warm. I'm not mad✓ Verified Purchase•October 21, 2023
They're pretty comfortable. We'll see how they last at work. First impression is they're decent material and comfortable for boots.
Surprisingly sturdy and comfortable

I've taken these on a few hikes and they provide amazing ankle support.
I walked into a lake and I stood with the water over the laces for 1 minute and 37 seconds before I felt any moisture in the boot.
I stepped into some deep mud that came up over the laces and my foot stayed dry.
The tread is deep and exaggerated which is fantastic. The lacing is snug and does not loosen and the grommets are metal.
I'm not sure what material the boots are made out of I have owned and still own leather boots but these feel thick.
Almost as if leather was wrapped over some kind of flexible armor. However they made these boots it's quite impressive.
There is tread on the toe in case you are mountain climbing and need a tow push up some rocks for a little added grip.
The rubber of the sole curves up over the toes near the tip of the boot for added protection.
There was a break-in period for the boots, I would recommend bending them so they crease where your toes meet your foot for maximum comfort while breaking them in.
Everyone should own a pair of these boots that rock! If mine ever wear out I will definitely buy another pair.

I actually love these and they fit great really they also look great. It feels like you can wear them anywhere and they are light too.
BUT, I took them on a hike and after 5 miles up a mountain and I found my problem with these. They dont have enough padding above the ankle and they started to really hurt. it actually scuffed my skin (the right one only which was weird) almost to the point of bleeding and eventually it did bruise my leg just above the ankle. could be not properly cut/sized? I dont have a walking problem and never had this happen. no matter how much I adjusted them I hurt. I could not wait to take them off.
note to make you really need to think about adding some padding (more) at the top. its too bad cause these are otherwise great. I bought them for survival but no way these will make that cut. From now on I will have to wear extra padding when I go hiking.

Boots need breaking in before making good judgement.

Long time Wolverine boot owner, Im talkin I had one pair of Wolverines for 14 years, and that pair went through about 15 elk/deer hunts through the wilderness. Anyways the reason I bring up my one pair is because this pair of boots has restored my faith in buying new boots. I tried a different pair last year also, and that "waterproof" boot did not make the cut after1 elk hunt. This boot feels very sturdy and well made which was surprising for an offbrand shoe. The tread is nice and has a good grip. My FAVORITE part is how FREAKIN comfy this shoe is, talk about walking on clouds. I've broke them in with 8 miles of street use up and down hills, and I cannot wait to take them hunting. The only thing I was unable to test was waterproofing, if it sucks I will update review. So far it is exactly what I need and what I've been looking for without breaking the bank.
