First, I thankfully had help installing. My 67 year old brother had no problems We had to make adjustments to the bottom. My Stella won't take no for an answer. Installed bottom onto 6" w x 36" l x 1/4" pallet leftover board and then secured that to floor. The snaps I replaced with velcro, and added extensions to zippers so I could hold them. I'm quite happy with it and am thinking of getting a couple more. Moving them to another apartment doesn't seem to be a problem as we had a roll of velcro left

I purchased this screen as a kitten barrier. I wanted to keep the door to their room open so they were not cut off from the rest of the household. If I have been able to attach the screen to the threshold securely, it would have more than likely worked. Unfortunately the hook and loop tape that was provided would not stick to the porous concrete slab. However it did stick firmly to anything that was wooden or painted. My interior doors are standard height and width, I had no issue with the width but the length was a bit short. if you have custom doors, you might not be able to reach the floor. I ended up using it in the kittens room on a smaller closet door. I could not get the hook and loop tape to securely bond to the threshold there either, it's a aggregate of lonelium and concrete. I purchased extra strength industrial premium duct tape and so far it has held fine. Since kittens defy gravity, they are able to easily climb the screen, however it has stayed in place with five six week old kittens continually testing it. I ended up stapling the perimeter of the screen to the trim of the closet door. It's an unfinished trim so I wasn't worried about that. I did that for extra security. The hook and loop tape has held as well. The material is firm but flexible and the zipper is strong, however it is a long zipper track which makes it very awkward when you are attempting to heard kittens. If your entrance or exit is without urgency, it should pose no problem. I did not have to contact the organization for any reason, but I will tell you the follow-through after the sale is quite impressive. And since that happens less and less these days, I recommend any organization that takes time to check on their customers after the fact.

got this to put up in my doorway to get some privacy from my pets while recovering from a double mastectomy. My a/c unit is in the living room, and closing the door to my bedroom cuts off all the cool air. This way I can still get cool air flow into my room and also have my personal space to recover. I like that it has snap closure straps to hold the door panel open. My only complaint is that the velcro adhesive does pull some finish off of the wood door frame. Obviously if you're a home owner this is a non issue, but I'm renting so I will most likely have to touch up the frame after removal. Overall good purchase for the price!

This works wonderfully! I already have two rescue pets. One dog that has been with us for 8 years and a cat that has been with us for 15 years. Recently I was adopted by a stray/feral 4-month-old kitten, and I accepted her into our home. Once she had her vet visit and no longer had to be quarantined, I needed something to keep her safe while the others adjust to their new little sister. This is exactly what I was looking for. I cleaned the door frame prior to putting it up using an ammonia-based spray cleaner. For the adhesive strips, I cut them into sections instead of long lines so I could more easily control the flow when sticking it on to the frame. Putting it up took me all of maybe 20 minutes and I did it by myself. (I'm 5'2) I have a little OCD honestly, so if you don't have that, it may not take as long. The adhesive tape is extremely strong! I didn't have to use any of the tacks for it to be secure. The kitten will climb it all the way to the top sometimes when she sees me coming and it hasn't budged at all. She only weighs around 4lbs right now, so as she gets a little bigger if it is still needed, I will see if the tacks become necessary. The screen is also extremely durable since it has held up to her claws when she does climb. There have been no snags or tears at all. The zipper runs smoothly and seems very durable as well. I was concerned at first if the zipper would end up giving out, but I feel very confident in it at this point after so much use. The only thing is, watch the tape backing as you're pulling it away. It happened a few times that I would be in a rhythm with adhering it to the frame and realize that not all of the backing was coming off. A few times it would partially tear away leaving thin strips of the backing still on. Since I had cut the adhesive tape in sections and was going slowly, I was able to lift it back up a little and remove the strips of the backing. I highly, highly, highly recommend this product.

My best buddy, my cat, on a rare occasion can have a flare up of redirected aggression due to a medical condition. To protect him and all family members, including our 2 chihuahuas, we installed 2 of the screens in our home. He's quite tolerant of them. I haven't seen him try to climb the screens at all and we had them for a few months. I've had to make or add a few things to make them work in the manner I needed. Examples would be, in the hallway I had to add nails along with the enclosed tacks. And we had to stick the bottom to carpet, maybe they will change the design of the screen someday to accommodate that. I added some decorative brick slabs at the bottom so there was zero chance of escape with my cat. All in all they have worked quite well for us. Installing took 2 people for me, but was done quickly.
