Following the provided instructions made installation so easy and fool proof. I thought I would have to cut it exactly to size before placing it on the window and was pleasantly surprised to not have to do that. After installation, it obscures the outside enough to stop my dogs from barking at things outside but still lets in a lot of light. Wish I put this up a lot earlier!
One note: the marked guides are NOT exact inches. Make sure to measure it with your own ruler or measuring tape. However, if you're following the instructions and cutting 1/2" more on every side this probably doesn't affect the end result very much.
