I like to use these for cleaning like my windows or mirrors. I do not like to use them for day-to-day usage. Is there a tad bit rough and I like my paper towels that I use for every day used to be softer. I do buy these, though, like I said, for cleaning projects even cleaning the grill. I do like them for cleaning my windows in my car because they are stiffer and don't leave a dust or shred on my car windows. That's why I continue to buy them. They were great value for the money.

Sparkles were pretty good years ago, then they got really cheesy for a while. They are back to being pretty good, though, and for the price, I'll stick with them. (Brawny & Bounty are my top favs, but the PRICE!)

Pro: Versatile and I prefer these over the 1/4 versions. If I want smaller sizes I simply cut or tear off what I need. I use these for napkins and also to absorb excess moisture from fruits that I clean with citric acid, pat dry and repackage and refrigerate in Lock & Lock containers. Also use these when I make quiches in aluminum pie pans that helps keep the quality of the quiche better. I often change out these paper towels daily and let them dry out so I can reuse them for polishing the stainless steel sink and faucets, or wipe down the electric stove, etc. before tossing them in the recycle bin. When I cook bacon, I cut them into bite size pieces and cook them over low heat until browned and several of these paper towels are laid in a large bowl to drain off excess fat before I freeze them in containers for future use.
Con: Not as thick as Bounty towels, but they are a great value and fit my paper towel holder better because they aren't as huge as Bounty so it turns easier. I also like that I only have to purchase 3 at a time because my tiny apartment kitchen has very limited storage!
