I've never tried a filter cleaner before, my hot tub is in my backyard and I have people over they track mud into and out of the hot tub sometimes, making the filter pretty dirty. Soaks my filter in this for the 6 hours they recommend, pulled it out and as you can see in the pictures here, it's night and day difference. I'd imagine it unclogged a lot of the insides as well. Worth with the money in my opinion.

Follow the instructions, soak your filter in this overnight, it comes out bright white the next day 24 hours later. Rinse it off well before putting it back in the hot tub.
