I purchased a matress and bedroom set, but the store did not have box springs for a king size bed. I called around to a couple of furniture stores and the box springs were around $400 for a king. One of the sales associates told me about this alternative and it worked perfectly. The rails are pretty sturdy, no noise and we put it up in less than 20 minutes. I have no doubt this will last for quite some time. Overall I saved a lot of money and I'm happy!

Simple to assemble by one person in about 30 minutes. If you have wood floors I recommend felt or non slip protectors as although it has plastic ends on the legs, it does move around a bit easy.

This frame went together ok. It has non-nonsense design, that I appreciate. I got the highest size and like that it lifts the mattress to a higher than common height (as I am tall). Then it also has more room underneath to store things, plus not having a bunch of braces makes that underneath space very usable. I particularly like that a shoe rack fits under this higher frame. It has holes for a headboard, yet I had to drill new holes in the headboard legs to fit the holes in this frame. So perhaps the headboard holes are non-standard. Once mattress atop, frame has a low profile appearance, which I am good with. Holds the bed up at that higher position without much visible bulk.
