I ordered two packages of this plate set and they arrive very quickly. I also liked that they didn't come with mugs, as many sets do. The plates are wide with enough of a lip, so that nothing falls off. The large wide pasta bowls are an absolute hit in my house. We use them for everything. The soup bowls are on the smaller side compared to the sizes of all of the other dishes in this package however, they are pretty normal compared to other bowls from other sets. They have been through the washer several times, and I have not seen any scratches, chips, or signs of wear. The plates do not stack well, and that is my only issue. They do not fit snugly on top of one another, instead, they somewhat tilt.

We've only had these plates for a few days, but they are very, surprisingly, nice quality. They do not have a lot of weight to them, they're porcelain so they're heavier than glass but not like stoneware. They all went through the dishwasher ok and stacked nicely. I love the edge of the plate. I bought two sets of 4. So far so good!

I love these dishes. I love how the ceramic ones look but the reviews on them talked about tablewear scratching the surface of the plate or bowl and leaving marks. So, I settled for porcelain and I am glad I did. No scratches so far. I specifically looked for a set that had two bowls in it. This one has a regular, cereal type bowl and a pasta\salad bowl. I love to make salads in the warmer months and pasta during cold Minnesota winters. These are great. I also wanted a lip or ring that when up around the edge of the plates. This has the raised edge. I also got Sweese 5 inch Porcelain 10 oz bowls. The shape is cut and size is perfect for snack, fruit, etc. The only draw back to them is that the new table set does not fit in our dishwasher as nice, but I am still keeping it all.
Disappointed with the smudges

Overall I am still happy with this dinnerware set however quality control is lacking. I ordered 2 sets and they came beautifully packaged with no broken or cracked pieces. However four large bowls and several plates have blue smudges in the glaze which is very disappointing! One bowl even has little brown specs inside the glaze. Does nobody check these before packaging them? Otherwise they appear well-made. None of the smaller bowls were smudged. They have a nice weight to them without being heavy that makes them feel less fragile than some other sets I've tried. Would have been a 5 star if fewer pieces had the blue smudge.
