As a side sleeper, I use all the extra stuffing that comes with the pillow. And let me say, it's AMAZING. I'm a tall, large fella, and it's somehow a perfect balance of soft and comfy while holding its shape remarkably well. It also breathes well, and stays cool. I just can't imagine a better pillow.
If you're a side sleeper, get one for SURE. Or several. I got two king size ones for my bed.

See, there's some shredded memory foam pillows out there that some jabroni thought "hey let's use some cheaply manufactured foam (that's basically the equivalent to floral foam blocks) buy it in bulk, and see how many jokers we can get to sleep on it"

So idk what these other people are talking about but my mom had this pillow and I loved it so much I bought one. Reminds me of the Hilton pillows, and I only need one!! This is the best pillow I've had so far. Goose down pillows are more cushy comfy, but tend to flatten out over time. This pillow is good sized, so I don't need to use multiple pillows like I always have. I used all the fill that came with the pillow, and the results are excellent.
I sleep on my side, and while I miss the super softness of goose down, I don't have to fluff-up my pillow a few times during the night like I had to with goose down pillows. This pillow is the best compromise so far.

First I had no issue with odor. The pillows were packaged well. I bought two. I have a very hard time feeding a pillow that does not hurt my ear. I still have a little soreness, but I think if a get the right amount of filler that may go away. But it is much better then any other I have tried.
The filling is very soft. Make sure you read the instructions. I took mine out of the box fluffed them and then let them sit out for a while. They did get bigger. Then I put one in the dryer with the outer cover removed with 2 tennis balls on low heat for 5 minutes. It came out super full.
After the first night I knew would have to remove some of the filling in mine. I removed about a gallon ziplock bag from mine. My husband likes his just the way it came.
I have tried a lot of pillows. This one is softer than most I have tried and yet it does not go completely flat like poly-filled pillows. I like it enough that I plan on buying 2 more for the guest room.
I added 3 pictures. First one is after it came out of the box. Second one is hand fluffed and sat for an hour. Third one is after it was in the dryer with 2 tennis balls on low heat for 5 minutes. You can see how much more fluffy it is at the end.
