If you're tall it's not going to come down as far as it needs to in order to be most effective for your lower back.
Im 6'3 and this fits great around the shoulder but it's just not long enough. However, still works very well at pulling your shoulder back and keeping your chest up. Doesn't hurt your arm pits or bunch.
Just know if you're tall know that it's not going to truly provide that much lower back support.

I have back and hip pain, and I found that the support I received from the back brace helped to relieve some of the tension and pressure I was feeling. The fit was a bit snug, but I was told that it should be a tight fit to work properly. It takes a little time to adjust to putting it on, but once you get it set it is like putting on a vest. Good investment.

I usually slouch when I sit for long periods of time though I don't have that dreaded "hump" on the back yet. This brace has really helped me remind to sit straighter that after just 3 days of using it, I had to sit on a very long day in class, I have noticed I sit straighter even after I forgot to use the brace. I eventually did slouch a bit a the end of the afternoon but still I was surprised how straight I sit compared to my classmates!

I didn't buy this for a medical reason - I bought this because I work from home and have noticed that my posture has progressively gotten worse. I have had this for two weeks. The first week I wore it for two hours a day for at least four out of the seven days. Last week I forgot about it and did not use it. I started again two days ago and instantly noticed the difference. I would recommend if you are looking for better posture! The velcro is very strong and it is comfortable to wear. As I said, I wear it for two hours a day and forget I'm wearing it. You also can throw a sweater over it and you can't tell you are wearing it.

I broke my T5 & T6 bones. The emergency room Dr, wrote me a script for one of these sryle braces. I decided to buy it on Amazon, however it didn't fit me. The brace came up to where my bones are fractured and pushed against them. I had to return it because it didn't work out for me.
It looked very nicely made, and the stitching was good. The adjustment straps were easy to use, but they didn't work for me. I don't think this brace is made for a broken back.
