I have used "higher end" lock brands before . but I wanted one with the finger print option and this one had good reviews and good price point ... I am glad I got it .. it was easy to install and easy to set up ... if you read the directions! The only downsides .. in my option .. is that it is not as solid as the metal ones .. and it does not have the "smart' option .. meaning I can't control it with my phone. Overall though .. great solid lock and worth it for the price!!

I don't write reviews often, but had to for this. Half price of Schlage and Kwikset, easy to install, works fast and well.

Only note is not to use thumb if your hands are bigger like me. Otherwise was super easy. Very happy with purchase.

This lock was easy to install and the instructions for programming it are very easy to read and understand how to do all programming, including changing the master code, adding fingerprint, removing fingerprint, Individual codes, and explaining all the ways to lock and unlock. It is versatile in regards to the ways it can be locked and unlocked including using a code, fingerprint, or key (which can be duplicated at any hardware store or auto shop for extra members of the household or emergency use). I am still unsure of how long the battery will last as we just installed this unit about a week ago. When using the code to unlock the door it works perfectly, However when using fingerprint it is hit or miss, at times I may have to try several times before it recognizes my prints, other members of the household have also mentioned this issue, however the code is always an option if the fingerprint recognition fails. Additionally, in order to prevent wearing down the numbers of the codes we have decided to use the numbers that are not in the code when lock-in the door. You have to hold any button for a couple of seconds to lock so we just cycle through the numbers that are not in our codes to do this, that way they will fade quicker that the ones that are actually in the code, as we primarily try to use our fingerprint as the unlock method. The unit will not lock with the fingerprint pad it must be one of the buttons. We made an extra copy of the key and put it outside as a last ditch effort for unlocking in case the code or prints fail to work or if the batteries (4 AA required) are dead. I also love the fact that we have the option of a "onetime use code" Justin case family or friend needs to enter. I plan to update my review after we have utilized the unit for some time.

I love it for the price it's excellent everything works how it should love the autolock feature just close the door and it locks itself and it's great I just touch the door lock with my fingertip and it opens no keys to fumble awesome when you're hands are full

This is the 3rd deadbolt I've purchased this year. This one by far was the easiest to install, had the best design, and had the best (very clear) instructions. It's sturdy and works well. I'm very happy. The finger print option is a little quirky and I am still trying to make it work right and figure it out. For now I am using the key code and key. I like the fact that you can set it to automatically lock. When you set this option the lock activates after 30 seconds and it works flawlessly. It's a good buy and much better than a few locks I've purchased and didn't work out for a variety of reasons.
