My old door knob and lock had seen better days and it was time to start looking for a new set. After months of looking, I finally came across this set and I must say I am happy with the craftsmanship and quality. Right out of the box I knew that I had something that was not cheaply made. The finish is very nice and adds great aesthetic to the door once installed. The installation took about two hours and I had one person to help. I would definitely recommend a second person so that someone can help hold on one side when you are using your tools on the other side. But even if you don't have a second person, it is still not hard to install and I would definitely recommend this product. I liked this product so much that I bought a second set for my front door after first installing this on my back door. When you hit the button to lock the door, the noise is not bad at all and, after you lock it, it will beep to let you know that it is successfully locked. So far so good on the battery life. Although I have not had it long enough to really gauge on battery life. The numbers on the keypad are very easy to read so the readability is great. All in all I recommend this product. All-around great craftsmanship and very happy that it comes with a manufacturer warranty. So if you are looking for a low cost, high-quality door knob and locks than go no further. This set will bring security aesthetic and reliability to your home and give you peace of mind that your home is safe.

Installation was easy for me cause I had it installed when I had a new entry door installed lol. Aside from that I really couldn't be more please with it. I have 2 more entry doors I'll be purchasing in the future and I would definitely buy this again. The only issue I had was locking the door manually from the outside when leaving without the key. I called customer service, no hold time at all, and they promptly identified my model (contractor threw away box with instructions) and told me to hold any button down for 2 seconds to lock it.

The installation of my new door handle and deadbolt were very easy, and took me no longer than 45 minutes to install and program codes and fingerprints. Mine was a replacement, and not a new installation, so I did not need to drill any holes, or chisel any cutouts for any of the plates. The fit was pretty good, although the square hole cover plate for the inside door handle didn't quite cover the hole cutout on the inside. It doesn't look bad, and is something I may try to go back and fix by taking the handle back off and patching the outer edge of the hole with something. I will attach a picture to show exactly what it looks like from the inside.

Door handle and deadbolt lock are very high quality, sturdy, attractive, and seem to be made to last! The satin nickel finish is gorgeous, and has a clear coating that should help it hold up well to the outdoor elements. The lock is very easy to program, and to set up all your keypad codes and fingerprints. The lock functions perfectly, and unlocks the door flawlessly every time the code is entered or when your fingerprint is scanned. The auto lock feature is very nice, and automatically locks the door at a set time interval from the time you unlock the deadbolt from the inside. The lock mechanism operates very quietly, but you can definitely hear when the door unlocks or locks, which is reassuring when you leave your house or come back inside after being away.

So far I am not really sure how good the battery life is for the door lock. It takes four AA batteries, and I used high quality long life batteries, so I am hoping I don't need to change them too often, but I'm sure the life of the batteries depends a lot on how often the door is locked and unlocked.

Overall the purchase of this lockset has been a very good experience for me. I love the appearance, build quality, and functionality of this unit. The price was very good too, and I received $30 off through Amazon on my purchase!

Great handle and deadbolt. I wanted the keypad so I didn't have to fish for keys while carrying groceries and holding coffee cups.
This deadbolt has the keypad and fingerprint pad. I really like the fingerprint pad and actually use that the most.
The programming process was easy and the instructions were printed nicely.
The only issue I had was the latch wasn't catching to open the door when we first installed it. My carpenter came back and fixed this and we haven't had trouble since.

Works well for us .. we don't use the fingerprint opening option ... i was doubtful it would work in a Minnesota winter so we never tried it... we just use the buttons to punch in the code we picked. I like that I can set it to auto lock after opening - we're happy with 30 sec setting but you can choose what you want. The relock sound is a bit loud but we don't mind. I wish it unlocked the deadbolt when the interior handle is turned ... you have to use the Knob to unlock the bolt before opening the door with the handle... this would be a positive feature for a home with small children but my youngest is 15. The batteries went in new a year ago and have not needed changing. We're happy with it.
