I was skeptical but after splitting the first couple logs, I was hooked. Only drawback is if your log as a knot, the log gets stuck and hard to remove. Other than that its great.

I have a small firepit on my deck and wanted something close by that made it easier to split the smaller logs that I burn in it, so I went with the smaller model.
Before I had a Hatchet that I'd have to use in the yard, but not anymore. This thing is great. Just put my log in the center, a few good swings with the hammer, and that log is split. I'm gonna look for a larger stump that I can secure it to, that way I don't have to hold it while I swing, and lucky enough this thing already comes with holes for securing it. Great product. 10/10. Would recommend.
