I love the way it looks now that I finally got it to work. I tried multiple times to find a back and nothing so I put this up and it started falling in days. Today I went to redo it and used scotch tape to see if there really was backing or not and finally got it to pull apart. Now it's what I expected. The instructions are horrible and say nothing about pulling the backing off before putting up. If I hadn't used something like this before I never would have kept trying to pull it apart. I would give 5 stars if they had real instructions.

I do wish I could see a little more outside but has done its purpose. I live right next to my complex entrance and I love having the windows open til it's dark outside so I was having a hard time with people looking into my bedroom. Or coming home from a late shift and the windows were open. But this has helped a lot. Also keeps my cats from destructing the blinds lol. Was definitely a task to get up by myself but I got it done in a couple hours.

It won't make rainbows in a window that does not receive direct sunlight and there always seems to be very small bubbles that you cant get rid of and some times the corners and edges do not want to lay flat but this is the second time I have bought this and it works really well! It's easy enough to install and comes off super easily without leaving any residue. I recommend measuring your windows and then cutting the film on a cutting mat using an exacto knife or a rotary cutter and then pull off the backing on the piece you cut and then put it up in the window. It will prevent you from scratching the glass.

As soon as we applied to our class door that faces south west in our living room we could feel the heat subside immediately ..it was getting so hot.. it was hard to touch the handle at times.. we are very happy with it .. did not get the squeegee and spray bottle with it. I would suggest to order it we did emphasize.
