My daughter is a clinger, in the most loving way, so I spend a good amount of time holding her and it kills my back. This worked great, put it on once it arrived. I feel no strain on my back and she was smiling so I'm sure she liked the seat and wasn't uncomfortable. Wish it had more pocket space, I can only really fit a travel size wipes pack and 3 diapers. But I cared more about being able to get back releaif so I'm still very happy with this. I did also laugh at the box a bit, the fact it says baby hit seat instead of hip seat and trying to claim retail price is $300 was funny. But over all it's really good and I'm very pleased with this. Definitely recommending this to my sister in-law and a few others.

I've wanted a hip carrier for 2 years and I finally gave in and purchased one. I have a 2-year-old toddler and an expecting so I already am getting great use out of this and will continue to for a few years. This is great for daily activities with my toddlers, such as going to the mall or store, where I don't want to bring a whole stroller and diaper bag. Everything I need fits right in the carrier which makes it super convenient for me when my toddler wants to be picked up and put down 60 times in a row. I was SO over holding the weight of my 24 pound girl (she's still little but I'm tired) and this helps tremendously in distributing the weight so I barely have to hold her up!

The main question I had was when I was reading reviews for this was: how does this compare to the tushbaby? Verdict: does the job well for holding a baby/toddler and taking weight off your back, but the quality of zippers and fabric are not as good compared to tushbaby. I had a tushbaby for over a year and I lent it to my sister when she had her baby, and I needed one for occasional use only. The main differences I saw in this one is that the zippers for the various compartments aren't as easy to zip and unzip with one hand because it's buried in the fabric, but I know that's not the main function of this product. The quality on the fabric on this one seemed poorer than tushbaby, I felt as the threads would come undone soon but only time will tell. Will report back in a few months.

I bought this to use for my almost 2 year old to walk her to and from our beach house (.25 mile walk each way). It was a great easy option to attach to my hips/waist and prop my 2 year old on. I have a bunch of those ergo carrier but sometimes when I'm home, it's too complicated to put on and then for my baby to be inserted in to the carrier. This hip carrier is perfect because you just snap on the velcro like a belt and grab your baby and have her sit on your hip. I love the versatality of being able to move the seat on the left, right of my hip or right in the center so baby can have different varieties of sitting down while I carry her. My baby is also on the higher percentile of weight so it does take a toll at the end of the day when I have to carry her.
