Works, with some quirks

The instructions are not complete. If you know what you're doing you'll get there. It works as it should once set up.
Not Exactly Plug and Play But It Works
router✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 24, 2024
Hooked this up to an older wifi printer after the wi-fi died. The printer then only had USB connectivity. So far, so good. There are other reasons to purchase, but this can turn your printer into a network printer. Not plug and play, and the directions are not the most well written. If using to make your printer a network one, I would suggest (1) getting a copy of the manual from the Wavlink website so you can print full page copies (2) giving the device a "static" IP address (3) create simple passwords until after you get the device set up (4) if your printer is going to be close to the router, use the wired setup instructions and connect via Ethernet cable, rather than the wireless setup. This means you will need an open Ethernet port on your router. If you have ever set up a home router through the web interface rather than the "easy" way, then you should be fine.
Easy to set up and works great.

Great Replacement For My Old Hawkins Adapter
CSRTech✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 17, 2024
I have used an old Hawkins brand USB print Server for a Dymo label printer for over 10 years. It finally died and I needed a replacement. This one does the trick with more modern features but still supports older LPR technology. If fact, as soon as I set the IP address to what I had the other one set to, it started printing some labels in the queue on a PC in the network. Couldn't be happier.
Works but setup/config not intuitive
scorpio knight✓ Verified PurchaseMarch 7, 2024
Finally got the device working after several tries. The config screen for LAN setup doesn't match the manual and screenshots. Tried the wireless repeater option first but the wifi signal seemed to be weaker than normal and was inconsistent. The wired option works but only if the LAN cable is connected to the bridge port. The DHCP setting is limited to off or on and didn't match the manual screenshots. When all of that was finally configured correctly, the other issue is that I had to find the correct printer drivers that would work with my Mac M1/M2.
