It has a decent sturdy quality but simple build. Multiple attachments for different use cases that are easy to put on, remove and clean. Plenty of power to grind up the meats and it spits out in a steady even stream. I've seen many meat grinders used, but this is my first and I am not disappointed. Does what it needs to do and not too big. Now time to start experimenting with different blends and seasonings.

I have never had a meat grinder before.
I wanted to make my own hamburger from some steaks so I was excited to try this out!
The setup isn't bad-- I did follow the instructions, though. That was helpful.
So, initially, I thought I could feed an entire whole steak through-- but, I was wrong. You do have to cut the steak into pieces and then feed it through (works much better and faster).
Grinds it pretty well but not quite as well as I thought. But, it's my first time, and still a learning curve.
It does take some time to clean. The meat stays in the holes quite a bit. I soaked it in for a while in warm water and soap. That helped a lot.
Overall, I am happy with this. It's powerful, and a bit loud, but works pretty well and you can get creative!

Have you ever used a hand-powered meat grinder? Well, I have and I haven't ground up any meat for a long time! That's also why I am very glad that I have this meat grinder from Naitesen! It's a very sturdy machine with a small footprint when you put it away until you need it again.
I am very impressed with the quality of the build. It's mostly stainless steel with some cast parts (the grinding plates and the cutting knife). It came well-packed, and I washed everything prior to using it the first time. Instructions for assembling and using this machine are included. The only part of the instructions that I thought at all confusing was how small the illustration was that showed how the rotary knife blade should be oriented. Then I looked right above that illustration and saw a blow-up of that picture and written instructions on exactly how that cutting blade should go. Wups!
I put everything together (super easy with a locking lever that keeps the grinding set-up in place), cut up the pork loin I was going to use to make some sausage and started. The control dial is easy as anything: Off, On and Reverse (reverse is only if something gets stuck, which likely means that you haven't been following directions and have put something too hard in the grind). Rubber legs keep this from wandering off while grinding. I was grinding away and suddenly the grinder stopped. I was almost done and realized that I had been grinding for longer than the recommended time and the grinder had automatically shut off to prevent overheating. Now that's a really great feature! Much better to wait for a while than to get a new grinder! In short order I was able to start again and finish.
I started with a coarse grind and ran all my meat through on that setting. Then I seasoned the meat and ran it through the machine using the fine grinding plate. There was no hesitation or any problems in grinding the meat. Wonderful! The sausage tastes great, too!
I didn't use casings for my sausage, but there are three attachments so you can use casings of three different diameters for your sausage. There is also a metal hamburger press that you can use to make hamburger patties (probably about 1/3-pound ones, but I haven't measured that yet).
This was also easy to break apart and clean. Everything should be washed by hand in soapy water. I found that it was helpful to have a long-handled brush to clean where the screw that moves the meat along sits. The motor part of the machine just needed a brief wipe as it just had a few splatters on it.
I am very pleased with this machine. I wish that it had an attachment that I could use to separate tomato pulp from the skin and seeds or cooked apples sauce from the skin and core. The company doesn't have that yet, but when it does, I'll be getting it!

This is one of mine more favorable kitchen tools to have. We buy our meat in bulk so I make own ground beef, ground turkey, ground pork and chicken. We make our own beef sausage and pork sausage. It comes with three different sizes tubing for making sausage and three different grinding attachments plates for finer ground meat to chunker ground meat. It's loud so don't expect a quiet machine especially when grinding meat. It's powerful. It's easy to assemble and clean after use.
