It's a breeze to set up, and connecting it to my other smart gadgets was a no-brainer. Now, I can lock or unlock my door with a tap on my phone "“ total boss move. The sleek design fits right in, and the keypad is a lifesaver when I'm juggling groceries. Plus, it's got this cool alarm thing that makes me feel like my house is Fort Knox. I was impressed at installation, it's simple, fast and easy! Once installed, just follow instructions and you'll see easy of use! I really like that it has different way to unlock, fingerprint, keypad, key. Programming it for all the unlocking options was very easy. Love it that it has the fingerprint to unlock so I don't have to look for the key. Sometime there's just too many thing in my purse to find the key. The previous one I have is not working well when the weather get cold, and this one don't have this problem. Also, there's a option set up auto lock, so I don't have to lock it myself.

This lock looks and functions like a high-quality product. I am impressed by its versatility and all of the lock/unlock options it offers. You can use your fingerprint, the app, the keypad (4-9 digit passcode generated by you or by the app), one of the included keychain cards, the manual knob (from inside), and/or one of the included manual keys! I have poor internet service at my home so I am thrilled that the lock is not completely reliant on the app. That means I am still able to get in/out of my house via multiple methods when my internet is not working well enough for me to open the app.
I like being able to send an eKey to someone else, allowing them to use their mobile device to easily lock/unlock the door (once they download the app and set up an account, of course). For each eKey or passcode, you can specify whether it is permanent, timed (unlimited uses within the dates/times you specify), one-time use (once within the next hour for eKeys or once within the next six hours for passcodes), or recurring (i.e. every Wednesday between 10am - 12pm). For each keychain card or fingerprint, you can specify whether it is permanent, timed, or recurring (no one-time use option, which makes sense). You can also use the app to view the records to see when and by whom the device was locked/unlocked.
When you attempt to lock or unlock the door, a voice clearly tells you whether it has successfully "locked" or "unlocked" or if the operation has failed. You can hear the voice from either side of the door (and from a couple rooms away). The lights on the keypad also flash red if the mechanism doesn't lock or unlock correctly. When you press a button on the keypad, it makes a clear, cartoonish sound so you know each keystroke has registered.
I am not mechanically inclined, but was able to quickly and easily uninstall my old deadbolt and install this one in its place. The installation instructions and diagrams are clear except that they leave out the step where you have to DISassemble the mounting plate from the interior assembly before you install it. This resulted in me returning the first one I received because I thought it was missing a critical part. As it turns out, the part was there all along - I just didn't realize it was attached to another part (and there was nothing in the instructions or packing list to indicate such).
The set-up instructions in the manual and the videos (accessible by scanning the QR code in the manual) are clear and helpful. The TTLock app is free, user-friendly, and intuitive so you can actually figure out how to set pretty much everything you want without referencing the instructions.
The passcode and fingerprint recognition have worked every time for me.

I'd give this a 4.5 if I could. It's not perfect but pretty close. User manual could use help.

PROS:
Seems to be a solid lock.

Easy installation. A template is provided if you have to make your own holes and it's really good. The installation part of the manual is complete and easy to follow. I had to make my own holes and the entire installation including getting the lock functioning took 1 hour. I'd guess 30 minutes or less if you already have holes in place.

All the basic functions are there including access by keypad, fingerprint, FOB, key, and phone. Additional features are in the app that include auto lock after a time delay, scheduled passage (leaves the door unlocked during that time), ekey to let other people use it with the app. Passcodes for yourself or others that are reusable as desired (permanent, timed, one-time, custom, and recurring). More than many other locks provide. I'd recommend downloading the app before purchase to see what it offers.

Keypad is easy to read, even in bright sun.

It works well. Your phone has to be within 2 feet to make the bluetooth function work. This is good for security.

CONS:
It uses tiny screws to hold the battery cover instead of a snap lid. I may end up using a peice of tape. Minor but a pain.

I tried to add a second schedule (weekend vs weekday) in the app for the passage function where it will leave the door unlocked during the scheduled time after manually unlocking it and found that it's an advanced feature that requires a subscription ($99/yr, $139/2 yr). There are quite a few advanced features that require this subscription. I doubt that many people would be interested in most of them at that price.

Personalized passcode - you have to generate a random 8 digit passcode then edit it to your personal code of 4-8 numbers after using the original number one time. I couldn't find this in the manual at all and just stumbled on the edit function.

The operation part of the manual could be better, especially how to use the app.

This is an excellent door lock, I'm very happy in general with the product and its features, the only setback I found is that an additional purchase is needed (G2 Gateway) to be able to operate from anywhere, including voice control with Alexa or Google assistant since the door lock itself doesn't have the Wi-Fi connection capability.

It is extremely easy to install, I thought it was going to take me much longer. The user manual comes with QR codes for app download and for short videos that guide you through device installation and operation.

With the app, I was able to quickly set up the pin code, activate the FOB cards, create fingerprint profiles for me and my family and set up the automatic door lock function which is quite handy so you never have to worry about forgetting the lock the door.

I no longer have to waste time trying to find my keys when I'm rushing out for work. I mainly use the fingerprint and pin codes features to operate the lock. The fingerprint operation gets sometimes erratic. I found that it gets better after a quick clean up to the reader with a piece of cloth (or your shirt).

Mi little kids were excited to get their prints registered as they now feel the power to unlock doors, however the feature is a hit and miss with little fingers.
