So much better than using a stovetop

I am really enjoying this fryer because I like to fry stuff but I hate what a pain it is using a pot on a stovetop. Oil gets everywhere, it smells terrible, and the oil ends up getting contaminated with crumbs from manipulating the foods with a pair of tongs. This countertop fryer is a game changer because it makes it so oil splatter is contained, the smell doesn't permeate the whole house, and I can just use the basket to place items in the oil and take them out. It also does all of the work for temperature control so I don't spend all kinds of time monitoring the oil with a thermometer only to find that it is either way too cold or running away hot. It has the necessary power to keep up with dropping in frozen foods as well.

I have no criticism for this fryer, only praise. Other fryers I have used in the past were much larger than this one, I do not think that large fryers are better. In fact, unless I was cooking for large groups of people constantly I wouldn't want to deal with a larger fryer. I like the fact that this fryer doesn't consume a lot of oil, it heats up almost instantly. Even though you have to fry in smaller batches than some of the larger fryers it cooks your food more quickly without having to open up the lid and tossing the basket. The oil cooks more quickly because of its smaller size as well. it is easier to handle the oil because the oil reservoir is smaller as well. Because it is so much easier to deal with I can see myself using this appliance much more often than the fryers I have had in the past. Air fryers are really nice, but there are just some things that are better in a deep fryer, like wontons or doughnuts for example. It matches my appliances if I decided to keep it on my counter, but is small enough to store away when not in use. I really like how compact and square it is.

Deep Fryers can be a hit or miss and to be a brand in which I was unfamiliar, I was very skeptical of buying this fryer but it has proven not only to be a excellent choice but it's probably the best deep fryer I've ever owned. The fryer is well made and pretty compact with a fair but generously sized fry basket. Best of all it avoids the clunky removable temperature control heating coil design most other fryers use. All the heating is done internally as the fry pan itself has protruding rods on the bottom that insert into the interior housing of the fryer as it sits atop a weighted pressure activated plate that starts the heating process once the unit is turned on and temperature is set. I highly recommend purchasing. It has great value, performance, ease of use and doesn't take up too much space. You won't be disappointed.

I've never owned a deep fryer at home so this was kind of a new experience for me. The fryer itself has so many settings and I was relieved to see how easy it was to fry fish with the fish fry setting. We used peanut oil to make up some fish filets and shrimp with hushpuppies and everything just turned out perfect. The oil dropped in temp after each fry but was ready to go again moments later.
We didn't notice any weird taste given to any of the food we cooked it all came out restaurant quality. everything had a perfect golden brown crisp and was warm all the way through. The basket is easy to handle and stays cool to the touch. It was easy to drain the food after and most food cooked in at longest 8 minutes.
I was really happy with this fryer and the ease of use. I honestly don't have any bad notes The clean up was even easy. Just make sure you dispose of any oil properly so you don't damage your pipes. I found Adding flour to the oil till it becomes more solid then throwing it away was a really easy way to go. Would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a fryer. The quality matches the price point and all the food turns out great!
