Drives nails great at around 90 psi and the only complaint is that it leaks oil from the air exhaust and it's not because of excessive oiling. I would recommend this product it has withstood the use from the gorillas I employee for about 11,000 sqft of flooring with no signs of damage.
You want this nailer. You really do.

I like to buy decent quality tools because I hate using junk. I'm not a professional floorer but I have been remodeling houses for many years and this nailer is one of my favorite tools.

I bought the non-pneumatic version a few years earlier and used it once, and it was tedious to use. This pneumatic version is SO much better for your back and for your sanity. If you are trying to decide between a pneumatic and non-pneumatic nailer, my advice is: BUY THE PNEUMATIC VERSION. DON'T THINK TWICE. Flooring is hard enough work. And nowadays they make such nice little portable $100 compressors.
Easy to use--Great Outcome

We just finished laying over 300 sq feet of solid hardwood prefinished flooring. This tool was great. We installed the accessory foot to use on prefinished floors (included) and it did a nice job in protecting the finish. We did find it was very important to make sure the entire foot was square against the previous row of flooring before hitting the pneumatic operation to assure the nail drove in properly and as another safeguard to protect the prefinished wood. We also used a short strip of blue painter's tape to cover the silver metal that is located underneath on each side of the hole where the nail comes out --also as a precaution to protect the prefinished wood.
MIIIFN Rocks!

As a homeowner, I have had both pre-finished and unfinished 3/4 inch hardwood flooring professionally installed, and observed the process. Thinking "I can it do that," I decided to install 182 sq.ft. of 3/4 inch pre-finished red oak hardwood flooring in a bedroom. After reading other reviews, I decided to purchase the Bostitch MIIIFN, and am glad I did! You really do get what you pay for! I am a DIYS, but having never installed 3/4 hardwood flooring, I just followed the directions, used the pre-finished foot, and the MIIIFN did the job without any problems.
Be sure to keep the wheels of the foot on the floor as you line up the boards, swing the hammer hard to counter-sink the cleats, and be sure to run the FN out of cleats, and then re-load..I did have one jamb because I failed to do this.
We have a beautiful floor (says wife), I have bragging rights, and saved a lot of money! Looking forward to doing another bedroom.
Technical support is the key

This tool has been around for decades and even carpenters who have never installed hardwood floors knows enough to buy quality first. But with Amazon, you get nothing more than a price below "list". So buyers should check with local tradesman suppliers for special pricing that may be much less.
With this manufacturer, you get great tech support which is the only reason I'm happy with my Amozin purchase. And if you follow pre-use guidelines you will be very happy with your purchase.
Be careful purchasing from Amazon because there software makes it easy to mistakenly order a second tool if you return to the site after a brief interruption and then you get stuck paying return shipping because Amazon intentionally does not send a verification email to make sure you wanted to place two different orders for the same products minutes apart being sent to same person at the same address.
