Great knife but be cautious with the pocket clip!
AZ Scholar•October 26, 2017
This is my second Kershaw Ken Onion Leek. I thoroughly enjoy the shape and the assisted opening. It has plenty of spring to the opening mechanism. I really like the shape of the blade. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the clip can easily slip off of your pocket which will cause you to lose it. That is the reason I ended up purchasing a second one which is the one I am reviewing. I lost the first one when I was in the woods. I believe it happened when I squatted down to pick something up and the pressure from my leg popped it loose and out of my pocket. I wish the clip we're just a little bit tighter.
Great knife

This is my favorite pocket knife. I won my original Leek from a raffle at work. It's the only knife I've never lost, and it's been my EDC for over 3 years. Unfortunately, I dropped it when putting my things back in my pockets (had to go through a metal detector on a job) and it broke the spring assist and several screws fell out. I was absolutely sick about it.
Amazon had the best price, and free one day shipping, so I ordered a new one. It's a great knife. Keeps a nice sharp edge, not too big and the spring assist makes using it one handed really easy.

Nice but not for me.

This knife seems like a well built knife but it was not my cup of tea. The handle is pretty but it is sleek and slick. I want something that I can hang on to and control easier. Granted, the sleek and slick part is great for wearing in dress pants, but then it also needs to be smaller.
I have a Kershaw Chill, and while this is arguably a higher quality knife, the chill has good grip and is exactly the same size. I couldnt justify having the both. I also like the curve of the Chill blade a little better. This is like a stilleto.

Best kershaw for the money.

I own multiple kershaw knives, and this by far is my favorite so far. Some of my other ones are bulky which I didn't mind, till I bought this one. Just about the perfect size, slim, disappears in your pocket. Razor sharp blade out of the box, quick deploying, and a thumb stud you can actually use (my others are so recessed that I cannot use them), but the flipper works well also. Only gripe is that it isn't grippy, which can be fixed with the G10 scales version, but at 3 times the price.

This knife is my EDC. It is extremely elegant and opens with perfect fluidity. Handle provides a confident grip and the frame lock is rigid and sturdy. The profile is so thin and the pocket clip seats low, i often forget its in my pocket. Highly recommended
