Screws Come Loose

Same classic Opti-visor optics but with plastic screws that unscrew after repeated raising and lowering.
If you hear something fall in the shop it was the screw working loose!
had mine a month now and screw comes off weekly!
Glad I saved my metal ones from my broken 20 year old Optivisor!

Awesome quality and never work without them anymore

I should've had these years ago, now I almost don't do any measuring or fine work without them. They're comfortable to wear and you can easily forget you have them on your head. Good quality over many of the other knock-offs, believe me spend a little extra and buy the real thing, the Donegan's are the original optivisors.

Well, the Donegan DA-10 Optivisor Headband Magnifier was an Ok! purchase, but the magnification code on the Headband loupes is not easily understood so I bought the higher magnification loupes and I was truly disappointed, they are practically useless, so I had to buy the #1.75 magnifications and de #2.0 magnification loupes to see which one works best for me. Long story made short, I had to spend a whole lot more money for the loupes I wanted just because the magnification increments and working distances where not available on the Amazon.com web page, and I was kind of in a hurry because I am busy all the time, so I did not save money at all, anyway, I hope this review helps future Donegan Optivisor buyers. Buy the #1.75 and #2.0 only, everything higher than that is a waste of money.
Exceptional - can believe I waited so long to get one.

Been wanting a proper Optivisor for a while. Have had several cheap clones - the ones with plastic lenses, but the lenses are crap, they dont stay clear for very long, end up scuffed and difficult to see through. The optivisor with its optical glass lenses is a dream to use. Cant believe I waited so long to get one. Just a pity they dont sell them in a sets with 4 lenses
Wonderful

Excellent for close-up work, giving a clear, distortion-free image, with sufficient magnification and 3D effect to ease the job of working with tiny surface-mount components on circuit boards and other projects. 2.5x provides a great magnification level without compromising depth of field too much. Higher magnifications narrow the depth of field significantly more, and can become more tiresome to work with.
