Great product - Does what it's meant to do!
DeirdreAugust 28, 2017
Have used this for at least 2 years. Not one problem! The green lights on the component are great for verifying if the USB connections are active. The component is about 5 inches in length and 4 in width, so it fits on a limited space desktop and blends in.
Great for Raspberry Pi 3!

Got this specifically to power a RAID drive unit for the Raspberry Pi 3. As you might know, the Pi 3 is just like the rest of the earlier devices, to which there is insufficient power to handle more than one 2.5" drive unit. So you MUST have a powered hub for stability. Needed to keep my budget low and this did the trick - no issues whatsoever, plug and play, doesn't get hot, works reliably with RAID drive unit I setup.

Its round corner gives you trouble, makes your usb plugin wobbling, and can not get good contact.

The usb hub itself is in low quality, I do not recommend it.

Go buy others.

The spacing between the ports is perfect for all of my usb cords that are a little funky shaped (gaming mouse, gaming keyboard etc.) The only reasons that I gave it a 4 star rating instead of 4 is due to the shapes of the power cord and connecting USB. The connecting usb cord only goes one way, while the power cord is an L shape and can go wither way. This is my first day with it, so I may have to update this review based on its performance/ longevity.

EDIT: So after having this USB hub for a while I realized that if you do not keep it stationary and accidentally bump it you will screw up any connections made. I will continue to use it as I only connect peripherals and NOT my backupdrive which I have hardwired to my PC.
No Signal Delays
Monique AtgoodDecember 24, 2015
One of the fastest USB port hubs I've found. We have it plugged into a cheap laptop that only has 2 USB ports, so when I want to plug in more than a printer and a wired internet, this comes in handy. So far, I've found zero noticeable delays in how fast the computer reacts while using this device. We have additional printers hooked up to it and a power station. I've used other USB hubs that have noticeable delays. Two of them were so bad I took them off and threw them in a drawer, so I was hesitant to buy another one, but apparently upgrading to this model did the trick and got rid of the time delay that I experienced using my mouse and keyboard on the cheaper models.
