This mix makes great tasting waffles. My only complaint is that it's expensive. The can says 1 cup of mix will make 3-4 waffles. We use a Waring Pro Waffle Maker and will get 3 waffles per cup of mix, which is good for the 3 of us. I double the ingredients so we have extra waffles for my son's breakfast before school. He likes them way better than frozen grocery store waffles. It's pretty easy, add egg, water and melted butter and you're good to go. I tried adding cinnamon, vanilla and a grated apple. Came out really good, you just have to cook it longer, maybe twice as long. Once I added blueberries. Oh man, they were great, but the blueberries were hard to clean out of the waffle maker! I tried this brand because a friend of mine considers himself a waffle aficionado, if there is such a thing :) It's the only brand he uses. While in Afghanistan in 2004, he emailed them asking if they could donate anything for a morale booster for the troops. They donated a pallet! They shipped it to our Air Force Base and it was brought over with the next rotation of troops. They were able to cook waffles for a couple hundred troops. Pretty nice of them. Since then I will pick up a can from time to time. We try, and like, other brands as well, but Golden Malted seems to be a favorite in our household.

My family fell in love with this mix when I was a child. We often stayed at hotels and the continental breakfast always had waffles that were amazing. One day my mom finally asked the staff what they made their waffles with, and it was this stuff. Now I've got my own little family and they love these as much as I do!

Fool proof! Perfect waffles every single time. I have been using this for several months now. By far the very best tasting and perfect looking waffles I have ever made. Just add melted butter an egg and water. Everyone clamors for these. Easy to make and they just slip out of my Prego waffle maker without a trace! No crumbs afterward either. Everyone always eats every last bite!

Can't make it through the we e kendo without it. Fantastic waffles and pancakes, better than Mom used to make (sorry, Mom). Have tried so many over the years from just o.k. Bisquick to King Arthur. This product beats them all. The breakfast restaurant in my neighborhood uses it, too, but they don't put in fresh/frozen black raspberries or blueberries like we do.

I usually make my own waffle batter from scratch but I decided to try this because it was recommended for the Presto Waffle Bowl maker that I purchased.
This produces an excellent waffle. The flavor and the texture of the waffles are superior to any other mix I have tried.
The waffles retain their crispness - I am not a big fan of Belgian waffles so I used my 60-year-old Sunbeam "classic" waffle baker and the results were exceptional.
I will certainly buy this again.
