This is a convenient multi-tool that fits conveniently in your pocket, and I carry one most of the time as you never know when you will need each of the attachments; the knife attachment is fairly sharp right out of the box, and is easy to sharpen back up with either sandpaper or a whetstone. It is great for puttering around the house, sitting down whittling on a small piece of wood, even opening up a cold beer. The pricing here on Amazon is a few bucks cheaper than my local store. If you are looking for a convenient multi-tool that won't put a bulge in your pocket, I would recommend this one.

Identical to my full-sized Tinker in a slightly compact size, so it fits his hands a little bit better, but it's no toy and even when his hands grow, he won't outgrow the usefulness of this knife!
All the tools you need and none you don't (We drink coffee, we have no need for a corkscrew...).
Victorinox stainless takes an edge well & holds it long. Great knives across the board. Highest recommendations for ALL Victorinox products!

Best all around useful pocket knife on the planet.. Great materials, sharp blade and tools. NOT too large for everyday pocket carrying. The edge on the can opener and the leather punch is tough enough to de-burr holes in metal much les open a can or stitch with. I've reset car door hinge screws with the Phillips screw driver without damaging my knife. Better than a box cutter for cutting boxes. I got the red Victorinox Swiss Army Tinker Pocket knife. Although I don't really use it on a daily basis, I have used it quite a bit, including on camping trips and just random occasions when I need to cut, screw, or open something. I have used this to open cans, and although it takes some practice, it does the job. The only issues I see are:
1. The metal piece that gives the scissors the springing action often shifts to the side.
2. It can be scary when cutting something tough as it feels like the blade may close on your hands.
As long as you're careful, this is an awesome tool to carry. Small, lightweight, and gets the job done.
