Works great and fits perfect in my hand.
Jeff•February 24, 2018
Purchased this one after getting another brand that worked great on the laptop, but not so great once it was hooked up to a projector.
The Keyspan, however, has been awesome. I first used it at Podfest Expo '18 for my presentation there (after testing at home) and it was wonderful.
The tech that was on hand began connecting his own clicker to my laptop once I hooked it into the projector and seemed taken aback briefly when I stopped him and said, "No! I have my own."
My favorite feature is the little "flywheel" on the right that can be used to advance your slides in addition to the arrow keys on top. I really like the feel of it and think it works better ultimately for advancing your slides, at least for me personally.

NEAR PERFECT and batteries last and last
John Richards•February 13, 2018
Near Perfect! Bought this on Feb. 9, 2010, just over 7 years ago, and it still works as if it were brand new! Have changed the batteries 2 or 3 times. Have used it monthly for 3 hour Power Point presentations, with zero problems. Used it with XP, thru Windows 10. Have accidentally left it on from one month to the next, and no problem. Have carried spare batteries and have never had to use them. The plug stores neatly in the top of the remote, clicking into place. Can't imagine how to improve it. Well done!
PS Just thought of one thing. Sometimes it winds up in my hand upside down, causing an awkward few seconds to correct problem. If it felt differentlly when upside down, that would prevent the very minor problem. Of course if I felt for the Mouse Button at the top, when I first pick it up, I could avoid the problem for me, but not for guest speakers.

Best Presentation remote bar none!

There are a lot of these devices around. I've used several that had limited range or were otherwise flaky. In my opinion this is the cream of the crop. I've owned one for several years. I gave it away to my church when theirs flaked out (again). So I immediately bought myself another. In addition to left and right mouse buttons, it has page up and page down and left and right arrows and a track stick. You can do just about anything except type. It even has F5 for PowerPoint. Receiver snaps nicely into the case. Also has a red laser pointer. Grab one ASAP and you will never look back. It just works. It works well. It is reliable. It is compact. I can't say enough good about this little device.
Every Presentation Feature in the Palm of Your Hand!
B. Seiberling•May 9, 2016
This is my favorite presentation remote. As an IT professional I am regularly in front of small to large groups of people discussing a wide variety of topics. The PR-Pro3 has all of the features you need when presenting using Microsoft PowerPoint. If I had to boil down what makes this device a must-have for anybody doing presentations with PowerPoint it is this. Once the dongle is plugged in you don't need to be at the computer through your entire presentation. Everything is available in the palm of your hand! It's so feature packed that it is hard to decide where to start on the Pros as Keyspan has included every feature that I could possibly want in a presentation remote.
Pros: Lets start with the most commonly used action while presenting, advancing through your presentation. The PR-Pro3 has two ways to advance and go backward. First there is a rocker wheel on the side and then there is a pair of buttons on the top with forward/back arrows printed on them. Both are easily manipulated with your thumb with minimal time getting comfortable with them. Next, there is a group of four buttons at the bottom of the top of the remote. Two will turn the volume of the PC up and down if you have video in your program. An F5 button will start your presentation from the editing view (This is the default that your PowerPoint opens up with). The last of these four buttons toggles between a live and black screen in case you want to turn off the presentation for a time. A red laser pointer is included for highlighting areas of interest. Then, looking at the top of the remote is a mini-joystick and two buttons that turn your remote into a mouse. With a little practice you can use the PR-Pro3 as a mouse from anywhere in the room. With a 100 foot range you aren't restricted in your movement. And that is vital to any public speaker. We need to move around and use the available space to keep our audience engaged.
Cons: It is hard for me to find anything to complain about with this device. The only thing that has ever tripped me up is that I forget to turn the remote on using the power switch on the side. But I also like the power switch where it is because I can turn the device off and not run down the batteries.
I have used this remote for years and have purchased them for several other groups after they saw me using mine. I have never come across anybody who used this remote and didn't love it. As I said in the title of this review, it has everything that you need for presenting with PowerPoint in the palm of your hand.
If you use Apple Keynote, I'm not sure how this remote will work with that product. Maybe another reviewer will have some experience for that group.
Update: It is now April, 2018. I still keep this presentation remote in my laptop bag and take it with me wherever I go. Two years later and this is still my favorite!

Great presentation tool
Steve Danke•May 21, 2015
So, I am constantly doing presentations and absolutely needed a presentation fob like this one.
Overall I really grew fond of the little thing even though not everything is perfect.
It was a tough call at first as there are several competitive products some of my colleagues are using that on first glance feel much better in the hand. But after using many of them during presentations for comparison, I actually like this one the best.
First I was attracted by all the features it had, but some of them honestly are feature gimmick and not actually usable.
However, since I hardly ever use them or need them, I still gave it 5 stars because it works for what I need.
One thing to be aware of is that it is not always easy to immediately know whether you are holding it the right way or upside down.
It doesn't bother me, but other devices are shaped in a way that holding it backwards by accident is impossible.
So the biggest feature aspect to point out is that the mouse feature (supposedly working like the mouse knob on the old IBM laptops), is really useless. I am by no means clumsy with my fingers (although of course more so with my thumb than with others), but it is really easier to walk back to your laptop or use a wireless mouse if you are doing anything more than getting a window back in focus.
Sometimes I use this to amuse my audience, but it has gotten old :)
To end on another positive note, this one is actually a lot lighter than some of the competition. While we are not talking dumbbell territory, some of my lectures are full days and when constantly holding this in your hand, it does make a difference.
So, really happy with this purchase overall and I doubt I'd buy any others if this one ever gives out.
